Commands and Configuration
Applies to all versions.
All commands live under /common_toolkit:
| Command | Permission | Description |
|---|---|---|
/common_toolkit hand |
Everyone | Prints the item you are holding as JSON (the same item format the library's codecs read), so you can copy it into a data file. |
/common_toolkit get_dimension_type |
Everyone | Prints the dimension type id of the level you are in. |
/common_toolkit serialize_loot_table <loot_table> |
Operators (level 2) | Writes the given loot table as JSON to datagen/<namespace>/loot_table/<path>.json in the game folder. |
Common Toolkit writes config/common_toolkit.cfg (Forge-style .cfg format) with a wandering_trader category:
| Option | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
Clear Generic Trades |
false |
Reserved: has no effect in the current versions. |
Clear Rare Trades |
false |
Reserved: has no effect in the current versions. |
The com.skd.commontoolkit.config package contains a Configuration class (the classic Forge .cfg configuration: categories, typed properties with comments and ranges, hasChanged()/save()) and the elements an in-game config screen uses. Create one with new Configuration(modid) (file config/<modid>.cfg) or with a File. This package derives from Minecraft Forge's legacy config code, which is why Common Toolkit is licensed under the LGPL (see Credits and license).
Common Toolkit is a port of Placebo by Shadows_of_Fire (MIT) and includes code derived from Minecraft Forge (LGPL-2.1); it is distributed under the LGPL-2.1-or-later license.
