Compatibility
Applies to Mystical Realms Data-Pack 1.0.0-beta.6 for Minecraft 1.21.1 (pack format 48).
| Pack format | 48 |
| Minecraft | 1.21.1 only |
| Works on 1.20.x and earlier | No |
| Tested on 1.21.2 or newer | No |
The pack uses the 1.21 folder layout — singular recipe/, advancement/, loot_table/ — which does not exist before 1.21. On a newer Minecraft the pack will simply be reported as incompatible.
The pack format is plain vanilla, so no loader is required. However, 30 of the 43 files rely on NeoForge's neoforge:false condition to discard a stub:
- the 26 Cataclysm Spellbooks recipe stubs
- the 1 Just Enough Breeding recipe stub
- the 3 Reliquary recipe stubs
On a non-NeoForge loader those 30 fixes will not apply. The other 13 files — the loot tables, biome tags, the advancement, and the two guidebooks — use no loader-specific syntax and work anywhere.
The project's own listing names NeoForge 21.1+ as informative, not as a requirement.
The pack is safe to install unconditionally, but each fix only matters when its mod is present:
| Mod | Fixes that apply |
|---|---|
| Cataclysm Spellbooks | the 26 recipes |
| Just Enough Breeding | the breeding recipe |
| Farmer's Delight Pizza Lovers | the advancement |
| IDAS – Integrated Dungeons and Structures | the 5 loot tables, 3 biome tags and 1 spawner |
| Illager Structures | the monastery |
| Butchery | the guidebook title |
| Iron's Spellbooks | the guidebook title |
| Reliquary | the 3 uncrafting recipes |
And one mod is a consumer rather than a target:
| Mod | Why |
|---|---|
| Equivalent Legacy (or Equivalent EMC) | Not patched. It is what produces the EMC exploit warning in the first place, so its presence is what makes the Reliquary fix visible. |
This is a server-side datapack. Install it on the server and every client sees the result — the fixes change data, not visuals, so there is nothing for clients to install.
None. There is no config file and no in-game setting.
The pack ships no function files, no scoreboards and no predicates. The only thing it uses is:
-
/reload— to apply the pack after installing it without reloading the world.
The pack is built by two scripts in the source repository:
-
generate_fixes.pyregenerates all 43 data files from scratch. It can take a path to the IDAS jar so it can curate the loot tables from the real data; without the jar it writes empty-but-valid tables instead, which means IDAS chests lose all their loot. -
build_fix_pack.pyvalidates every JSON file and zipsdatapack/intoMystical_Realms_Data_Pack-<version>.zip, taking the version fromversion.txt.
