Commands

Applies to Regalia Slots API 1.0.2 for Minecraft 1.21.1, and to 1.1.4 for 26.2.

The one command

/regalia_slots_api

Everything lives under this single root. It requires permission level 2 — operator — so players cannot use it to hand themselves slots.

Subcommands

Subcommand What it does
list Shows the current slot layout and which slots are granted.
set <slot> <player> <index> Replaces whatever is in a specific slot index of a player.
add <slot> <player> <index> Inserts a slot, shifting the rest along.
remove <slot> <player> <index> Removes the slot at that index, shifting the rest along.
replace <slot> <index> <player> with <slot> Replaces one slot type with another for a player.
clear <player> Removes all slots from a player.
drop <player> Drops what is in a player's accessory slots into the world.
reset <player> Restores a player to the default slot layout.

Reading the syntax

The two that are not obvious:

  • set / add / remove take a slot type and a numeric index, not a slot name. The index is the position in that player's accessory layout, counted from zero. remove at an index you do not have changes nothing.
  • replace is written replace <slot> <index> <player> with <slot> — the word with is a literal part of the command, not optional.

Recipes worth knowing

Take everything off a player who is leaving:

/regalia_slots_api drop <player>

Their accessory items land on the ground rather than vanishing. Use this before removing a player from a whitelist or role.

Give someone a clean slate:

/regalia_slots_api reset <player>

Strip a player's slots entirely — they get them back when a relevant mod needs them:

/regalia_slots_api clear <player>

clear and reset differ in what they aim at: clear empties the player's slots, reset puts the default layout back.

Server administration

Because slots are defined server-side and synced, the config file remains the right tool for deciding what the default is for everyone. These commands are for exceptions — one player, one unusual loadout.

The player_like entity type tag is the way to change what slots exist by default for large groups; see Slots.

GUI

There is no command to open the slot screen — it is reached from the player inventory. See Getting Started.
