Rebuild the Minecraft main menu. Change the background, move the buttons, add your own, overlay images, and restyle the loading screen — from a JSON file.
The main menu is the first thing anyone sees and, by default, the one thing you cannot change. SKD Menu makes it configurable: where each button sits, what it looks like, what it does, and what sits behind all of it.

| Configuration | JSON, generated on first launch |
- Background — your own image with a slow breathing zoom, a panorama, a flat colour, or the legacy rotating background. Aspect-ratio preserving, so it never distorts.
- Logos — one top-left, one top-right, each independent.
- Title image — replace the wordmark.
- Every vanilla button — move it, resize it, restyle it, or remove it.
- New buttons — ones you write, which run a command, open a screen, open a URL, or quit.
- Overlays — free-floating images at any position.
- Loading screen (26.2 only) — themed background, logo, banner and progress bar, plus the NeoForge early window while mods load.
Positions are percentages, not pixels. x and y are 0–100 across the window, origin top-left, with y increasing downwards. Your layout therefore stays proportional at any window size instead of drifting apart.
Sizes are pixels, because an element does not need to scale with the window the way its position does. That split is deliberate and is the single most useful thing to know before editing the config.
See Configuration.
- Getting Started — install it and make your first change.
- Configuration — the two config files, when changes apply, coordinates, images.
- [Buttons](Buttons] — the 9 vanilla IDs and your own.
- Images — backgrounds, logos, overlays.
- Compatibility — the 26.2-only loading screen, and one crash to avoid.
