Server-side quality-of-life and safety patches for NeoForge, packaged as a library.
Most of what Utility Core does is invisible: it stops a negative-damage interaction from crashing the server, resolves conflicting recipes instead of silently picking one, pre-generates chunks while nobody is online. None of it adds content.

The repository carries two eras of the same project, and which one you have changes everything — including the licence.

In 2.0.0-beta.1 the monolithic Utility Core was split into independent mods, so you install only
the parts you want. That split is also where the licence changed to MIT.
If you are on 26.1.2 you have one mod. If you are on 26.2 you have four. See The Four Modules.

PolymorphApi for recipe selection |
- Stops crashes — negative damage from mod interactions is clamped to 0, and OutpostZero infection damage is capped so it cannot kill you before the death event fires.
- Resolves recipe conflicts — when several recipes match the same ingredients, a selector appears in the crafting table instead of the game silently picking one.
- Pre-generates chunks in a spiral while the server is empty.
- Protects the spawn schematic area from breaking, placing, explosions and mob spawns.
- Enforces server rules from a JSON file, applying only what differs from the current value.
Full list on Features.
- Getting Started — install, and pick your line.
- The Four Modules — what each of the four installs.
- Features — everything, with which module owns it.
- Configuration — the config file and the in-game menu.
- Compatibility — dependencies, ports and opt-in features.
- Credits and License — the licence changed between lines.
