Credits and License

Applies to every version of Utility Core.

The licence differs between the two lines

This is the important part, and it is not a formality — the terms are genuinely different depending on which line you have.

Line Branches Licence
1.x — the monolith 26.1.2 and older All Rights Reserved
2.x — the split modules 26.2 MIT

The change came with the split, in commit fb540de — "v2.0.0-beta.1: Split monolithic Utility Core into 3 independent mods" (2026-08-11).

Both lines now ship a LICENSE file matching their declared mod_license, which they did not before this documentation pass. If you are vendoring or redistributing, check which line you are dealing with.

1.x — All Rights Reserved

Copyright (c) 2026 Stalking Dragons. You may download the compiled mod and use it, and include the unmodified JAR in a modpack that credits it and links to its page. You may not re-host, mirror, modify or reuse it without permission.

2.x — MIT

Copyright (c) 2026 Stalking Dragons. The MIT text is in the LICENSE file of the repository.

Credits

  • Stalking Dragons — Utility Core and its modules.

Ported work

Biome/Dimension Titles is ported from Traveler's Titles by YUNGNICKYOUNG, which is licensed LGPL-3.0. That port is retained with its original attribution and licence, and is part of utility_core_qol.

The rest is original.

Mods Utility Core patches or interacts with

Referenced in its fixes, required by nothing, and never modified or redistributed — each remains the work of its own author under its own licence:

  • Apothic Attributes and Tombstone — the negative damage combination it guards against.
  • OutpostZero — infection damage capping.
  • Curios / Regalia Slots API — the loot predicate fix.
  • Evilcraft — the broom vehicle in the anti-cheat whitelist.

Trademark
