mnp transfer sends Monero through monero-wallet-rpc.

It supports either Monero payment URIs or explicit address/amount pairs.

Payment URI

Send a single payment URI:

mnp transfer 'monero:ADDRESS?tx_amount=0.000000066565'

Send multiple payment URIs in one transaction:

mnp transfer \
    'monero:ADDRESS1?tx_amount=0.000000483949' \
    'monero:ADDRESS2?tx_amount=0.000000000006'

Each URI is parsed through monero-wallet-rpc.

The amount in a Monero URI uses the standard decimal XMR representation.

Example:

tx_amount=0.000000066565

corresponds to:

66565 atomic units

Address and amount

A transfer can also be specified directly:

mnp transfer \
    --address ADDRESS \
    --amount 66565

--amount is specified in atomic units.

Multiple destinations can be sent in one transaction:

mnp transfer \
    --address ADDRESS1 --amount 483949 \
    --address ADDRESS2 --amount 6

All destinations are included in the same transaction.

Output

On success, mnp transfer prints only the transaction ID:

2c9b0727028f468e878e7c07d13cc4dd369a27c1468054ef4080b7e85c1cd4a3

This makes the command easy to use in scripts:

TXID="$(mnp transfer 'monero:ADDRESS?tx_amount=0.000000066565')"

Payment IDs

An integrated address contains a payment ID.

A transfer containing a payment ID must have exactly one destination.

Allowed:

mnp transfer \
    'monero:INTEGRATED_ADDRESS?tx_amount=0.000000333333'

Also allowed:

mnp transfer \
    --address INTEGRATED_ADDRESS \
    --amount 333333

Verify outgoing transfers

Outgoing transfers can be checked with:

mnp transactions --out | head

or

mnp transactions | grep -F "$TXID"

For a multi-destination transfer, each destination is shown on a separate row with the same transaction ID.

Example:

TYPE TXID AMOUNT CONFIRMATIONS HEIGHT LOCKED ADDRESS SUBADDR_INDEX
out <TXID> 777777 1 ... true ADDRESS1 -
out <TXID> 888888 1 ... true ADDRESS2 -

Usage

mnp transfer URI [URI ...]

mnp transfer --address ADDRESS --amount AMOUNT
             [--address ADDRESS --amount AMOUNT ...]
