Run a batch tournament across strategies and print a result table. No display required — this is the command to reach for when comparing strategies or scripting a sweep.
hegemony headless [flags]
| Flag | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
--width <n> |
24 |
Grid width in cells |
--height <n> |
24 |
Grid height in cells |
--ticks <n> |
400 |
Maximum ticks per match |
--seeds <n> |
50 |
Number of seeded matches to run |
--seed <n> |
1 |
Base seed; match i uses seed+i
|
--threshold <f> |
0.6 |
Territory fraction to win outright (0 disables) |
--strategies <list> |
all registered | Strategies to enter |
Plus the shared simulation parameters.
--seeds sets how many matches run; --seed sets where the sequence starts. Match i uses seed+i, so a run is reproducible: the same --seed and --seeds replay the same tournament, and two runs that differ only in --strategies are directly comparable because they share the seed sequence.
