Watch a single match in the GUI. The war map and the leaderboard open as separate, coordinated windows.
hegemony run [flags]
The GUI lives behind the ebiten build tag. A plain go build or go install produces a headless binary, and hegemony run will not be available in it.
# from a checkout
just gui run --width 32 --height 32
# or build the tagged binary yourself
go build -tags ebiten ./cmd/hegemonyThe Homebrew cask ships the GUI build; the Homebrew formula ships the headless CLI:

Documentation clips are produced by just demos (tools/demogen) rather than by flags on this command.
# Default match
just gui run
# Bigger board, larger cells
just gui run --width 48 --height 48 --cell-size 12
# Slow it down to follow the front line
just gui run --tps 4
# Watch a specific matchup, reproducibly
just gui run --strategies Blitzkrieg,Turtle,Bulwark --seed 7--tps changes simulation speed only — it does not change the outcome. A match at --tps 4 and the same match at --tps 60 resolve identically for a given seed.
--cell-size is presentation only; --width and --height are the actual board dimensions and do affect play.
