Sprint 1

Deliverable Statement

During this sprint, I will be preparing the production network which will connect to DN42, as well as gathering the resources (address space) needed to initiate that connection. I will set up the DN42 router and the internal DN42 network, then with any luck expose the router to the internet to be prepared for next sprint. Provided I receive the necessary resource allocations in time, I will be able to set up the internal addressing and then will begin reaching out to beginner-friendly peers with whom I can make the first connections.

Objectives

By the end of this sprint, I will have a functional production network and router prepared, with little actual traffic passing anywhere but prepared and secured to be interconnected with the rest of the DN42 network. Along the way, I will extensively document the process and specific commands needed to accomplish each task. I will also document any testing performed to ensure functionality or security, which can be used during future sprints to set up new peers or troubleshoot issues.
