Drawing Exercises

This one is great for learning how to properly draw and see things in perspective and 3D space.

It's free (you can donate to them if you want), and it's awesome. 👍🏼

Gesture drawing

Gesture drawing is art of capturing the motion of the subject. This one you can do yourself! Just find around 20 images of nude figures on the internet, save them on your folder, set up a timer and draw!

I recommend setting timer for 30 sec, 1min, or 2min and try to draw line of action and add elements to it rather than just drawing a silhouette.

Just be consistent. It will look bad at first, but if you keep doing it, you will improve for sure! Here is a basic tutorial of how it should be done.

Figure drawing

I would say that figure drawing for me is separating the human form into basic 3d (not 2d) shapes. Such as boxes, spheres and cylinders.

It should look something like this
