Create a note from within Vim

<Leader>mn

This will bring up the MinionNote function.

:MinionNote

Type a name for the new note and hit enter.

:MinionNote TPS Reports Memo

A new file will be created and opened.

~/inbox/TPS-Reports-Memo.txt

You can modify the default content in 'notes_template.txt', in the templates directory. The templates directory is specified in the Minion Config File.
