04 0 Sprint Boost Studio

This page introduces Sprint Boost Studio (SBS) and walks through install + first-time setup.

SBS is a desktop companion app for Sprint Boost configuration workflows.

Disclaimer

Sprint Boost Studio was created while developing Sprint Boost in bits and pieces, it kind of just evolved, and it's current state can only be described as "Rough". It may never rise above that level of polish, but I wanted to offer it, as it might help others that want to explore creating their own boosted experiences on the Sprint.

You've been warned.

What Sprint Boost Studio is for

Common uses:

  • design and preview display layouts
  • run Intelliscope tools for memory/state inspection
  • testing your configuration prior to moving them to the Sprint

Install Sprint Boost Studio

  1. Go to the latest public releases page:
  2. Download sprint_boost_studio.zip.
  3. Extract its contents to a location on your PC.

NOTE: Windows Only

Recommended setup workspace

For easiest setup, use the Quick Start workspace structure.

  1. From the same releases location, download the Sprint Boost Quick Start zip.
  2. Extract the boosted folder from that zip to your PC.
  3. In Sprint Boost Studio settings, set SBS Root Path to that extracted boosted folder.

Practical effect:

  • you start with a known-good working structure
  • SBS paths and config edits stay isolated to that workspace

Suggested first-run checklist

  • Confirm SBS launches from your extracted sprint_boost_studio.zip contents.
  • Set Root Path to your extracted boosted folder.
  • Verify expected files/folders are visible in that root workspace.
