0. Setup
To setup FowlJS you will need the template at https://github.com/fowluhhdevbcfunny/fowljs-template, and Visual Studio Code.
You need to download Node.js for all of this to work. Get it at https://nodejs.org/en.
On Windows, Download Visual Studio Code (VSCode for short) from https://code.visualstudio.com.
On Mac, there's probably some tutorials online.
On Linux, more specifically Ubuntu, you can get VSCode from the website, your package manager, or the Ubuntu App Store if you have that installed.
Once you installed VSCode, you need an extension called Live Server. What this does is open a local website as if you were on a real website, you need this due to a problem with Cross Origin Resource Sharing which won't let you use local files in JavaScript due to security issues like Trojan Horses and other stuff.
You can find the plugin here: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ritwickdey.LiveServer
Whether you're on Windows, Mac, or Linux, you should be able to download the template for FowlJS, extract the contents into a folder, and open the folder in VSCode. Once you're in, press Ctrl-Shift-P or Cmd-Shift-P on Mac and type in "Live Server: Open with Live Server." You should see a website pop up in your default browser that looks like this:

If you see that then you have successfully setup VSCode and the FowlJS Template.
