Board Design

Main Board Design Concept

193mm x 130mm dimensions. All-in-one board solution for a Powered Speaker System.
The main board has the following features

Features:

  • Double Differential ADC Input Circuit
  • Balanced-XLR Input or Differential RCA-pin Analog Input
  • Optical or Coaxial S/PDIF Input
  • Amanero Combo384/YORK pico or XIAO RP2040 USB-Audio Input
  • Raspberry-pi ZERO 2W Slot with control buttons
  • TL-232R-3V3 USB-UART Cable Connection Pin-Header
  • AUX-ADC pin-header
  • Onboard two Trimmer-POTs
  • Optional Toggle Switch for DSP control
  • External Front Panel Control PCB connectivity
  • DC24V Single Power

Optional Board

The original layout is intended to be used in a powered speaker built in. I got some requests for the stationery application. So I designed this board to add a capability to access from the Front Panel

Front Panel Control Board


For standalone use, a front panel board can be used.

  • Connected via 8-pin cable
  • 4 LED Source indicator shows the selected input source
  • Selective Parts mount (Mainboard or Front Panel Board)
  • Through-hole Lead parts for easy hand-mount building
