Reference Generated Dashboard Widgets

Dashboard widgets

The home dashboard is a grid of widgets, each declared once in core/dashboard.py. A user's personal arrangement lives in User.dashboard_layout and is merged with this registry at render time, so a newly shipped widget appears without a data migration.

Sizes are WxH tokens : width in quarter-columns (1..4) and height in row units (1..4, plus the half-step 0.5). Zones are main, rail_top, rail_bottom.

Rows shown by a progress-bar widget

A list widget fits its row count to the tile height, so a taller tile shows more rows rather than scrolling.
