| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| ⌘K / Ctrl+K | Open Quick Switch (branches, repos, files, commits, settings, quick actions) |
| ⌘⇧F / Ctrl+Shift+F | Search in files |
| ⌘/Ctrl+Enter | Commit (while focused in the commit message field) |
| Space | Toggle stage/unstage for the selected working-tree file |
| Alt+↑ / Alt+↓ | Jump to the previous/next diff hunk |
| Shift-click (Push button) | Force-push instead of a normal push |
| Shift-click (Pull button) | Pull with rebase |
| Shift+F10 / Menu key (branch, file or commit row) | Open the row's actions menu, the same one right-click opens. ↑/↓, Home and End move through it; Esc closes it. |
| Shift-click / Ctrl/Cmd-click (file list) | Select a range of files / add or remove one file — across Staged and Unstaged. On macOS, Ctrl-click selects here rather than opening the right-click menu. |
| Click / Shift-click (diff line number) | Select a changed line / a range of lines, to stage, unstage, or discard just those |
