1.2 plan: fewer pages, easier to find things (feedback wanted) #153

I think it looks pretty good, makes sense how everything's grouped on 1.2. However, I find it a bit awkward to navigate through patterns in a song, but maybe that's on me, still learning to navigate around the interface. |

This plan is in Felucca 1.4: https://github.com/hugelton/Felucca/releases/tag/v1.4 The SEQ button is now STEP and AUTOMATION (CHANCE, RATCH, NUDGE, locks and automation in one list), SEQ held is SEQ TOOLS on every page, GLO opens SONG, PHRASES is on SAVE, and HOME goes round HOME, MIXER and CLOCK. GLOBAL and SYSTEM went too: TUNE is in MENU > AUDIO, ROUT is MENU > MIDI > MIDI IN, and the USB state and CPU load are in MENU > SYSTEM > INFO. Your projects and sounds didn't change for it. Thanks everyone for the feedback here! I'll close this one. If something is now harder to reach, please open a new discussion. |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
The SEQ button now has seven pages, and even I get lost in them. For 1.2 I want to make the pages simpler. It changes where things are, so I'd like your thoughts before I start.
Before → after
Now
1.2
What moves where
So the SEQ button is simply: the notes (STEP) and what happens on each step (AUTOMATION).
What stays the same
Tell me
I'll keep this open for a while, and what we decide here goes into 1.2.
