WolfViewer — Space Rabbit
WolfViewer — Space Rabbit (7.2.4 w65)
New vehicle HUDs
- Speedboat Helm.
- Rev counter, a speed dial in knots (or km/h / mph), a compass with course over ground, the speed step (3/6) and an ON PLANE light.
- Depth under the boat (red below 2 m), trim, fuel and an ahead / neutral / astern lever.
- HORN, LIGHTS, ANCHOR and ENGINE buttons.
- It also works with boats that have no Wolf script: it picks up the boat's own "Speed = N" in chat.
- Spaceship HUD.
- Heading tape, pitch ladder and a flight-path marker.
- Speed and altitude tapes, vertical speed and height above the ground.
- Bars for fuel, boost, shield, hull and heat; BOOST, ASSIST, GEAR and ENGINE buttons.
- Rocket mode shows big altitude and vertical speed, the apogee, the stage (1/3) and a big SEPARATE button.
- Submarine Helm.
- Depth gauge (red past the sub's safe depth), how fast you are diving, distance to the sea bed, dive angle, ballast and dive planes.
- Battery, oxygen and throttle.
- A sonar scope sweeps for objects, avatars and land around you, with a PING button.
- DIVE and SURFACE (hold), PERISCOPE, LIGHTS and ENGINE.
- Opening them. Each HUD has its own icon at the bottom right and a Wolf World menu item. When the vehicle's script says what it is, the dashboard shows the right design.
- Keys and buttons. Every new button can have its own key or controller button in Driving Controls.
- For vehicle makers. New
wolfDashboardkeys andwolfDriveInputbuttons drive all three HUDs; see the LSL Guide on wolf-grid.com. - Hide the Wolf icons. If you don't want the icons at the bottom right, untick Wolf World > Show Wolf Icons.
Tower Voice
- The tower talks to you while the autopilot flies. You hear:
- Take-off: "Tower, runway one eight, wind two one zero at eight knots, cleared for take-off."
- On the way: cleared to your destination airport.
- Over the airport: "you are over the airport, please land the plane yourself".
- It uses the Wolf Territories voice and is on by default. Switch it off with Wolf World > Tower Voice (autopilot).
- The tower calls you by the first part of your user name. To use a different callsign, change the WolfTowerCallsign debug setting.
Autopilot
- Take-off. Line the plane up yourself, then engage the autopilot. It rolls straight down the heading the plane is pointing, rotates and climbs straight out. If the nose swings more than 15 degrees on the roll, it stops the take-off.
- Landing is up to you this time. Pick an airport and the autopilot flies you there, then circles over it. The tower tells you "Please land the plane yourself". Automatic landing is being reworked to handle airports among hills and short runways, and comes back in a later release.
- Anti-spin. If the plane stalls, spins or rolls over while the autopilot is flying, the deck shows SPIN RECOVERY. The autopilot levels the wings, gets the speed back and hands back once the plane is stable. It never points the nose at the ground near the ground.
- Climbs that suit the plane. A climb gives way to speed, so a small plane is never pulled up into a stall. Turns are gentler when low or slow.
- The artificial horizon now banks the right way on the flight deck and on the Spaceship HUD.
- No more phantom obstacles. The autopilot no longer climbs for things that aren't there, such as moving objects nearby. Before, that could hold a plane hundreds of metres too high.
Invisible Mode
- Turn it on from the Wolf World menu, before you log in or after. You appear offline: friends are not told you came online, and people who message you are told you are offline and that their message was saved. You still receive the messages.
Graphics Helper
- Wolf World > Graphics Helper (or Help on the login screen) shows your graphics card and what looks wrong.
- It has a switch for each graphics feature, so you can switch things off one at a time and see the difference.
- Put everything back returns every switch to how it was when you opened the window.
- Save diagnostic file saves a text file with your settings and logs to send to Wolf Territories support.
Fixes
- Dark interiors on some computers (Macs especially). The sea at the horizon is no longer drawn into the reflections that light the inside of buildings. Sky light that the viewer switched off after a graphics problem is now tried again once in each new release.
- Photo Effects switch off when you close their window.
- The bright fly-through cloud is off by default. It can be switched back on in Graphics Helper > Clouds to fly through.
- The bottom toolbar is centred on the screen again.
- Airports window: Teleport. A new Teleport button takes you to the airport you picked.
- The Airports window fetches a fresh list every time it opens.
- WatchWolf: Teleport. A new Teleport button takes you to the person you picked in the list.
- My Suitcase no longer scatters your folders when you come home from a hypergrid trip. A folder you got on the trip now comes home whole, to the top of your inventory. Only things you actually got on the trip are moved; anything you packed before you left stays in the suitcase. A folder that mixes the two is left in the suitcase as it is.
WolfViewer — Thundering Cat
WolfViewer — Thundering Cat (7.2.4 w64)
A new Wolf World menu
- Wolf World sits next to World and holds all the Wolf Territories features, so the World menu is short again.
Flying
- Airports window. The deck's AIRPORTS button (or Wolf World > Airports) opens a search: type or paste an airport's name or its region, then Fly there. The autopilot takes the route and lands on the airport's runway. Any region name works too. The flight computer has the same search on its APT page.
- Chase camera, on by default. The view rides with your aircraft, and banks, climbs and rolls with it, upside down too. CAM on the deck switches it.
- A steadier autopilot.
- SPEED LOW now reads a smoothed airspeed, and turns the autothrottle back on if it was off.
- It flies round regions that refuse to let you in, and stops showing the same "Denied access" message again and again.
- It steers off region corners, so you never cross two borders at once.
- It no longer "learns" that both pitch and bank keys are reversed from a wobble; it says CONTROLS NOT ANSWERING instead.
- MINI. The flight and sailing deck and the car dashboard shrink to one small bar with MINI, and come back with FULL.
Driving
- Real gear sticks. An H-gate for the car, the Scania range-splitter for the truck, and P R N D M for automatics.
- The dashboard waits until you ask for it. It no longer opens by itself when you sit in a vehicle.
- Clearer speedometers. The dial figures no longer run into each other.
Effects
- Explosions, fire, smoke, sparks, fireworks, dust and shockwaves that scripts set off with the new wolfEffect LSL function. Scripts can also shake your view with wolfShakeCamera, but only for their owner, someone sitting on them, or on land their owner controls.
Wolf DJ / Talk Show
- A real mixing desk. It has long-throw faders, EQ and FX knobs, MON, CUE and MUTE on every channel, a stereo master with LINK, meters, and a spectrum.
- The playlist deck shows each track's length and the time left, and loads the next track early. Very large files are streamed instead of refused.
WatchWolf
- See who is on the regions you own or manage, sorted and in pages, with IM, profile, eject and ban. NPCs are hidden unless you ask for them. It's in Wolf World > WatchWolf.
Weather
- Weather Report (Wolf World) shows the region's live weather and the sky it chose.
Screens
- Spread Across All Screens (Wolf World) stretches the viewer over every monitor on Windows, macOS and Linux.
Hypergrid trips
- Wolf's sky, water and map effects switch off on other grids and come back when you return.
- Landmarks made on another grid go into My Suitcase, and anything that arrives in your Suitcase on a trip moves into its normal folder when you get home.

WolfViewer — Amazing Aardvark
WolfViewer — Amazing Aardvark (7.2.4 w63)
Wolf Roleplay: Game Mode
- A roleplay game across the whole grid. Every Wolf Territories region runs the grid's own wolves game unless the region has its own. Switch it on with the paw icon in the bottom-right corner or with World > Game Mode. It is off until you turn it on, and a region can require it ("This region requires Game Mode").
- A game HUD across the bottom of the screen. It shows your wolf portrait, your Health, Stamina and Hunger orbs, 12 action slots (keys 1–9, 0, - and =), your weapons with ammo, a quick bag, your Bones and a GAME on/off switch. It grows with your UI size, and the paw shows or hides it while the game keeps running.
- The Roleplay window. It has Stats, Combat (weapons and armour around your wolf), Bag, Pets, Game, Look (put your own picture behind the window) and Help tabs.
- Targets, buffs and combat text. Click someone or something to target it, and watch the damage numbers fly.
- The Wolf Territories kit. Berry bushes, fishing, springs, herb patches, hunting, a campfire, a healer's stone, a trader and a pet den to adopt a wolf pup or a raven. Everything is full permissions, so you can see how it works.
Driving: a real dashboard
- Car, Truck and Bike clusters. They are modelled on real ones: a Porsche 911 / BMW M3, a Scania R and a BMW S 1000 RR / Ducati Panigale. Each has a speedo, a rev counter with a red line, gears, warning lights and a steering wheel or handlebars that turn with you.
- Manual gears by default. Page Up and Page Down change gear, and the car and truck have an AUTO / MANUAL switch.
- Wheels, pedals and gamepads. World > Driving Controls sets your axes and buttons, and you can choose your own keys for horn, lights, indicators, hazards, handbrake and cruise.
- Built-in horns. With no horn set, your car, truck or bike horn plays in-world for everyone around you.
- For vehicle makers. New LSL functions, wolfDriveInput and wolfDashboard, give your scripts the real wheel and pedal positions and drive the dashboard.
- The old Vehicle tab is gone.
Flying and sailing
- PANEL hides the background behind the flight and sailing instruments.
- Only one panel shows at a time along the bottom (game, car, plane or boat), and the normal toolbar folds away while one is up.
Voice
- Voice stays connected when you cross a region or teleport. It moves you to the new region instead of hanging up and dialling again, so there is no more "clap" or silence.
Everything Wolf stays on Wolf
- On other grids the game, the dashboard and their keys and menus are not there at all. Your joystick and keys work as normal.

WolfViewer 7.2.4 w62 Far-Seeing Falcon
WolfViewer — Far-Seeing Falcon (7.2.4 w62)
Flying
- The land far below has its shape. Flying 100 m or more up, the regions beyond the ones you have loaded are drawn as real ground with hills and valleys, not flat. Connected regions use their own ground textures; the rest show their map picture laid over the ground.
- The far-away map pictures now show. In w61 they were meant to appear while you flew, but they were invisible.
- No more jumps in a big region. In a very large region (like Ireland), the distant ground stays in place as you fly across it.
- Your plane no longer snaps back. When the region's position updates for your plane were late, the plane and the camera jumped tens or hundreds of metres backwards for a moment, which felt like the view spinning. It now eases back smoothly.
Flight Mode autopilot
- Steady turns. The autopilot no longer banks too far and swings back past the heading. It stops banking at about 20–30 degrees.
- Smooth climbs and descents. It no longer switches between climbing and diving. On the way to the destination it comes down on a steady slope.
- Prefers to fly under the cloud. When there is room above the ground it flies 100 m under the cloud base, otherwise 100 m above the tops (the screen says UNDER CLOUD or OVER CLOUD).
- The engine is started for you. The ENG button and the automatic take-off send "start" unless you set another command.
WolfViewer 7.2.4 w61 Cloudy Condor
WolfViewer — Cloudy Condor (7.2.4 w61)
Flying
- The sea goes all the way to the horizon. From the air you no longer fly over a square of water in a white void: the ocean runs out to the real horizon, curving away with the Earth, reflecting the sky and fading into haze.
- You see further the higher you fly, and the sky thins to space at real heights (stars by day from about 20 km up). From 150 m up the water is drawn in its simple form to save work.
- Regions too far away to load are shown as their map pictures while you fly at least 100 m up, so the land below is there until the real regions arrive. On the ground you see the sea as before.
- Clouds to fly through in bad weather. When the weather is overcast or stormy, there is a cloud layer to climb through — grey below, a sea of cloud above, white-out inside. Only while you are flying, so skyboxes are left alone.
Flight Mode autopilot
- Takes off by itself. It rolls down the runway, rotates, climbs and raises the gear, and stops on the runway if something goes wrong.
- Says DEST NOT FOUND when the destination region doesn't exist, instead of flying somewhere else.
- Flies under things above it instead of climbing to meet them.
- Autoland no longer gives up straight away when it finds the runway from a poor position.
- Speed protection. If the plane loses speed with the autopilot on — the engine stops answering, say — it no longer pulls the nose up into a stall. It warns SPEED LOW and trades height for speed until the plane is flying properly again.
Smoother distant scenes
- Distant objects load without stalling the frame. Objects more than 256 m away are built a few at a time, nearest first, so a busy region coming into view no longer makes the water and movement jerky. Wolf Territories regions also now send far-away objects only if they are big enough to see.
Weather and sky
- Hypergrid visitors see the Wolf region's weather.
- Region skies fade over the time the region asks for, so automatic sky changes are smooth.
WolfViewer — Smooth Seal
WolfViewer — Smooth Seal (7.2.4 w60)
Smoother water
- Natural water no longer stutters while things load in. Streams and pools used to be rebuilt every couple of seconds while a busy region's objects were arriving, which made the water jerk. Now they wait for the objects to settle, and keep the water exactly as it is when nothing about it has changed.
- Only boats you can see rock. Boats behind you or out of view are left alone, which saves work in busy harbours.
Flight Mode autopilot
- Lands at airports. Pick a destination region that has an airport in the Wolf Territories airports directory, and the autopilot flies to the airport, finds the runway, flies a 3° approach and lands. It lands into the wind, lowers the gear and rolls to a stop. A prim with "runway" in its name or description is always picked as the runway. This is new, so keep a hand ready: if it can't line up, it circles over the airport and tells you.
- Climbs over buildings and towers, not just mountains. It looks a minute ahead along your track and climbs early over anything solid in the way.
Sailing Mode autopilot
- Finds its own way round obstacles. When something blocks the way ahead, the boat turns left until it finds a clear route, then carries on. If it turns a full circle and there's still no way out, the autopilot switches off and tells you, rather than going round in circles.
WolfViewer — Flying Fox
WolfViewer — Flying Fox (7.2.4 w59)
Flight Mode
Open World > Flight Mode in your plane or helicopter for a proper cockpit across the bottom of the screen: an autopilot panel, a primary flight display, a moving map, crew alerts and a flight computer. A head-up display shows the horizon and where you're heading.
- Fly anywhere on autopilot. Click the flight computer, type a region (for example
Madrigal, orMadrigal/128/128/60for an exact spot) and press Enter, then press CMD. It flies straight there and circles overhead (helicopters hover on the spot). - It flies the plane, not your avatar. It uses the same keys you would, so it works with your aircraft's own script. Set which keys your aircraft uses on the flight computer's CTL page.
- Holds your speed. A/T comes on with the autopilot and keeps the speed you set.
- Clears the mountains. It looks a minute ahead and climbs early over high ground, with TERRAIN and PULL UP warnings if you get too close.
- Fly it yourself. Drag the sidestick and throttle on the panel, or use your keys as always.
Sailing Mode
Open World > Sailing Mode at your boat's helm for a walnut chart table with a ship's wheel, a brass wind instrument, boat speed, depth and VMG.
- Sail anywhere on autopilot. Type where to go, press TRACK and AUTO. It plans a route through deep enough water round the land, tacks on the laylines when the wind's against you, and stops at the nearest shore if the place itself is on land.
- Keeps out of trouble. It looks ahead across the bow for other boats, jetties and shallows, and turns away in good time.
- RAISE says "raise" in chat to put your sail up (change the word on the CTL page).
- Links to the sailing club and airports pages on wolf-grid.com.
Your route on the World Map
Press MAP on either deck and the World Map opens zoomed to your whole trip, with the route drawn on it and where you are along it. Great for flying or sailing the route yourself.
Show or hide, any time
Three new buttons at the bottom right show or hide the toolbar, the flight deck and the sailing deck, so you can take clear pictures without leaving the mode. WolfViewer always starts with the toolbar showing.
Boats on the water
- Moored boats now rock gently, each in its own rhythm.
- Boat wash stays behind the boat, even on very large regions.
Also in this release
- What's new: a link on the login screen and Help > What's New show the latest changes.
- The World menu scrolls if it's taller than your screen.
- The Wolf Territories world map shows only while you're on a Wolf Territories region.
- Natural water keeps clear of objects and existing lakes.
- Fixed a crash when teleporting away from a large region with smaller regions along its edge.

WolfViewer — Radio Rabbit
WolfViewer — Radio Rabbit (7.2.4 w58)
Radio Stations
Open About Land > Sound and press Radio Stations... for a radio of your own: a wooden cabinet with a glowing dial and a button for each genre (Pop, Rock, Dance, Chillout, Jazz, Classical, Country, Hip Hop, 80s, Oldies, Ambient, Metal), each with ten stations.
- Listen plays a station just for you, so you can try it before anyone else hears it. Press Stop and the land's own music comes back.
- Set on land makes it the music on the land for everyone there.
- Add to my presets keeps it in your own list.
Every station is checked every six hours, and ones that have gone off the air are taken out, so the list only has stations that are playing.
Music presets on the Sound tab
The music line on the Sound tab is a plain address again, with copy and clear buttons. Below it are:
- Wolf Territories stations: ten stations, WTGR first, each with a Set button.
- My presets: ten slots for your own stream addresses, each with a Set button. The streams you'd saved in the old list are already in them.
You can only set the music on land where you're allowed to change its media, as before.
Water that matches the sky
The sea now takes its colour from the light falling on it. It's deep blue in sunshine, grey and leaden under heavy cloud, and nearly black at night, instead of the same blue whatever the sky. It looks right under Jimmy Olsen's skies too.

WolfViewer — Howling Wolf
WolfViewer — Howling Wolf (7.2.4 w57)
Wolf DJ: your grid stream in one click
The Grid Stream button (in World > Wolf DJ / Talk Show...) fills in your own Wolf Territories radio stream for you: the address and the password. Every region owner gets a free stream, and if you haven't made yours yet, the button makes it. If you don't have a region yet, it tells you how to get one.
Wolf DJ: effects and jingle pads
- Effects on every channel: Echo, Reverb or Radio voice, with a slider for how much. Your listeners hear them on air, and Cue lets you hear them yourself.
- Jingle pads: eight coloured pads under the channels, with their own level. Open Playlist..., pick a song, and press a pad to put it there. Then press the pad in the mixer to play it on air (you hear it too); press again to start it over, and Stop ends it.
- Music from other programs: start the program playing first, press Refresh sources, then pick it on a Music channel. The mixer now says so.
Buy Land on the world map
If you're on Wolf Territories and don't have a region yet, the world map has a green Buy Land button that opens the regions page.
A Wolf Grid button
A Wolf Grid button at the top of the viewer opens wolf-grid.com.
Boats and the open sea
- Boats ride the waves out at sea. Past the edge of a region, out on the open sea, boats now rise and fall with the swell instead of sitting flat.
- SF Sail boats and buoys float. Parked SF Sail boats now rock on the water, and so do buoys.
- The open sea is choppy, not stormy. Big waves painted along one region's coast no longer roll out across the whole open sea.
- Your waves are there when you come back. Sail away from a region and back again within ten minutes, and its sea is there straight away, without a few seconds of the wrong waves.
- Big surf breaks, it isn't a wall. Very high painted surf now leans over and breaks instead of standing up as a wall of water.
Smooth across region borders
Walking, flying, driving or riding a ferry over the line into the next region is now smooth all the way. Before, you could move, stop dead for a moment, then jump forward, over and over, until the region handed you on.
No more money pop-ups, part two
The "This region transacts WT$" message you got on every region arrival now really goes to nearby chat, like the other money messages.

WolfViewer — Wolf Heroes
WolfViewer — Wolf Heroes (7.2.4 w56)
Wolf DJ / Talk Show — be the DJ, right in the viewer
Every region owner on Wolf Territories already has a free radio stream (My Radio Stream on wolf-grid.com). WolfViewer is now the DJ software for it: no Mixxx, no extra programs. Open World > Wolf DJ / Talk Show...
- Talk show mode: the Voice channel puts everyone you hear in voice chat on your stream, so you can host a show with guests and callers in-world.
- Six channels: Voice, your Mic, and Music 1 to Music 4. A music channel can take any program playing sound on your computer, everything you hear, or your Wolf DJ playlist.
- A real mixer strip on every channel: treble, mid and bass EQ, a fader, LED level meters with a clip light so you can see when it's too hot, Mute, and Cue to listen to just that channel yourself.
- Talk-over: your music dips automatically while you speak.
- Wolf DJ playlist: a file browser with your folders on the left and your playlist on the right. It plays MP3, FLAC, Ogg and WAV, you hear it yourself while it plays, and each song's artist and title show for your listeners.
- Go Live turns red and reads ON AIR while you are broadcasting, with your time on air and how many people are listening.
- On your own region the mixer can switch the land's music to your stream while you're live, and put the old music back when you stop. On someone else's land, Copy gives you the address to send the region owner.
- Your stream password can be saved in the viewer's encrypted store.
- The mixer window can be resized; make it small and the channels scroll.
Picking a single program needs Windows 11 (or Windows 10 build 20348+) or macOS 13+. On other systems, "everything you hear" works instead.
You're on the next region, and the viewer says so
When you drive or sail across into a neighbouring region (no more region crossings for vehicles), the location at the top of the screen now names the region you're actually over, not "Open sea".
Boat wash behind the boat
The wash now starts at the stern, and big ships like the ferries get a wash that fits their size. On very large regions the foam no longer spreads out in front of the bow.
No more money pop-ups
Money messages (for example the welcome note on every region arrival) now appear in nearby chat instead of pop-up windows.
