Smelter and Forge
The Smelter and Forge are essential parts of your farm's industrial growth, allowing you to process raw minerals into useful materials and upgrade your equipment.
The Smelter is your first step into metallurgy. You can purchase a Basic Smelter from the Shop for $250,000.
Key Features:
- Unlock the Forge: Purchasing the Smelter is a requirement to access the Forge section in your Workshop.
- Experience: You'll earn 10 XP the moment you acquire your first Smelter.
- Metal Production: It provides the foundation for crafting various metal ingots.
Once you have a Smelter, the Forge becomes available in your Workshop. This is where you can craft ingots and access tool upgrades.
Unlike some other recipes, Forge recipes are "learned" by interacting with the world. You learn them by selling resources mined from the field.
Once learned, you can craft the following basic ingots:
- Bronze Ingot: Crafted from Bronze Ore and Coal.
- Iron Ingot: Crafted from Iron Ore and Coal.
- Silver Ingot: Crafted from Silver Ore and Coal.
- Gold Ingot: Crafted from Gold Ore and Coal.
The Forge also houses your Tool Upgrades. These allow you to improve your farming tools, making your daily tasks more efficient as your farm expands.
