What's new

Items

  • Coins are items. The ones in your purse are the Coins panel; others can go in containers (the coin purse lists them, puts them in and takes them out). Shops, trades and treasure work as before.
  • One Container. It holds things, a liquid, its own pieces (a deck) or a pack's contents. Holds: Only… limits it with rules (certain items, a group, a template, words in the name), counted if you like: a quiver of 20 arrows, a piggy bank of coins kept apart from your Coins.
  • Actions in your own words. A container's actions: take one at random, take one you choose, take everything out, put things in, then switch a state on or off. "Shake one out", "Smash it" (then Broken). A deck's Draw a card is one of these.
  • Sealed containers hide what's in them from players. Compartments: a side pocket, a lid.
  • Equipment slots (D&D 5e: two hands, armor): a full slot asks what to take off. Two-handed for versatile weapons: more damage, both hands.
  • The campaign's own states (Settings → Campaigns → Item states): Broken, Lit, Wet… beside the game system's. Templates say how many items use them.

Party

  • Show… an item to other players or the GM. Discard sends it to the GM's Treasure (Discarded). Items remember where they came from.

Icon editor

  • A Library: Parts (kits: sword, axe, potion, shield, bag, bow, staff; tap parts and they fit together), Symbols (dice, suits, marks, elements), your own drawings, and Text (three fonts; words can show values: "{qty} arrows").
