Export Tab
The Export tab lets you download the device database as a CSV file. Choose a preset to target a specific subset, customise which columns to include, and preview the data before exporting.
Presets are quick filters that scope the exported data. Each tile shows a live count.

Click a preset tile to select it. The count badge updates in real time as the database changes, and always matches the equivalent Dashboard card's count — both read from the same underlying classification.
The column picker on the right controls which fields — and, as of v2.4, in what order — appear in the exported CSV. Tick or untick any column, and drag a row (grip icon on the left) to reorder it; the CSV's column order follows the list's order top to bottom. The picker shows how many columns are currently enabled out of the total available.
v2.4: column selection and order now actually persist across app restarts. In earlier versions the save function existed but nothing ever called it, so your column choices silently reset to the defaults every launch — this is now fixed alongside adding reordering.

Column selections are saved automatically and persist across app restarts.
Click Preview to open a sheet showing the first 10 rows of the selected preset with the chosen columns. Use this to verify the data looks correct before exporting.
Click Export CSV to open a save dialog. As of v2.4 the default filename includes your environment name: AxM-Jamf-Sync_{environment}_{preset}_{date}.csv — handy when exporting from several environments back-to-back, since the files no longer all land with the same name.
Once the export finishes, a success banner appears with a Show in Finder button (v2.4) that reveals the saved file directly.
The CSV uses standard RFC 4180 formatting:
- First row is the header with column labels
- Fields containing commas, double-quotes, or newlines are quoted
- Double-quotes inside fields are escaped as
"" - Line endings are
\n(Unix) - Encoding is UTF-8
- Export No Coverage Info Found after each sync to get a list of devices to investigate in ABM — these may need an AppleCare purchase or a purchase source correction
- Export Out of Warranty to plan upcoming AppleCare renewals
- Use Current Filter after searching the Devices tab for a specific model to export just that subset
- The column picker state is global — changes in the Export tab affect all future exports regardless of which preset you use
