Graceful Degredation
One of the ideas behind TransData is that different versions of some data may be required for different uses(users). The GenderBreadPerson Fussy package installs a full set of fields that lets you qualify the data you enter in several different ways.
However, you do not need to use all of them (or any of them, for that matter). You can decide not to use the "momentum" fields without limiting what you do with the other fields. Likewise, there is no requirement that you use the "setting" fields to give weight to your data. Instead of using the "active" checkbox fields, you can just delete records that no longer apply.
You can start out with a "simplified" version of the child records by removing all the fields you are not prepared to make use of NOW, and then you have the option of adding them back in when it looks like you and your users need them, or are ready to make use of them.
