Effects Reference
Nourished rewards a balanced diet with passive buffs and penalizes neglect with debuffs. Everything runs automatically β no potions required.
Effects are checked every 2 seconds based on your current nutrient levels. When a nutrient crosses a threshold, the associated effect kicks in or fades out.

When all five nutrients are above 75%, you'll receive:

| π Regeneration I | Slowly restores health over time |
Both effects last as long as your diet stays balanced.
Each nutrient group has its own penalty when it drops below 25%:

Penalties fade as soon as you eat something in that group and your bar recovers past the threshold.
If all your nutrients are at 50% or higher when you sleep, you'll wake up with Regeneration I for 30 seconds.
Eating raw or undercooked meat will hurt you. The severity depends on how raw the food is.

A high Proteins nutrient level builds resistance to raw food penalties.
Raw food penalties can be disabled in config under Effects β Enable Raw Food Penalty.
Tag foods with nourished:raw_food/* tiers β see Community Tags.
All effects are stored in config/nourished/effects.json and are fully customizable.
You can:
- Change which vanilla effect is applied
- Adjust the trigger threshold
- Change effect duration and amplifier
- Add entirely new effects tied to any nutrient

Edit effects.json directly, or use the in-game Effect Builder under Mod Options β Nourished β Effects.
