WRepeatfind 1.0.1
WRepeatfind looks within one document, or a book made of chapter files, for phrases it repeats, so writers can catch accidental repetition, such as a passage that was moved while editing but whose original was never deleted.
Download WRepeatfind-1.0.1-win-x64.zip, unzip it, and run WRepeatfind.exe. It needs 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and no installation. It reads .docx, .doc, .txt, and web pages, and you can paste text straight in. To check PDF files, put pdftotext.exe (from the free Xpdf tools) in the same folder.
Features
- Finds repeated phrases even when a few words differ, and groups a passage with all its copies.
- Checks the chapters of a book together, so a paragraph repeated in chapter 2 and chapter 9 is found.
- Shows the whole text in your browser with each repeat highlighted in its own color; click one to jump to its next copy, and dismiss repeats that are intentional.
New in 1.0.1
.docfiles are read with Windows' own reader, as intended.- An About box with a link to the web site.
- Licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later.

WCopyfind 6.0.2
WCopyfind compares a collection of documents to find the phrases they share. It was written to detect plagiarism in student papers and is used for many other kinds of comparisons.

New in 6.0
- A redesigned window in three steps: choose the documents, decide what counts as a match, compare. It can be resized, remembers your document lists, and accepts dropped files and whole folders.
- Results as they're found, with a Stop button, and sortable columns.
- New reports: a sortable, filterable list of matching pairs, and one page per pair showing the two documents side by side, with matching passages highlighted in both. Click a passage to jump to its twin; step through matches with Next and Previous.
- More reliable: a document that can't be read is listed and skipped instead of stopping the run;
.docfiles are read with Windows' own reader; file names in any language work; settings from WCopyfind 5 carry over. - Many fixes, listed in the README.
New in 6.0.2
- A new program icon: two pages with the same highlighted phrase, linked, replacing the generic icon WCopyfind had used since it was first written.
