Parameters

Simon Laing edited this page Oct 7, 2023 · 11 revisions

The site uses the following URL scheme

/division/<division name>/<view?>/<season name?>

Or

/score/<id>

Or

/tournament/<id>

Both view and season name are optional.

Parameters for the URLs above are divided into 2 sections, global parameters and fixture filters

Global parameters

These parameters work for any address:

?embed=true

Return a version of the site that:

  • has the header, menu and footer removed
  • opens all links in a new window

?controls=false

Hide the division and season selection controls and fixture filters from the page.

Fixture filters

The following parameters filter fixtures, and only work where view is fixtures

?date=<date>

Only show fixtures for the given <date>. <date> can be a month or a day for example

  • ?date=2023-07 - any fixture in july
  • ?date=2023-07-03 - any fixture on 3rd July

<date> can be repeated, separated with a comma, for example

?date=2023-07,2023-07

<date> can also be any of the following values:

  • past any future dates, including today
  • future any past dates, including today
  • prev-and-next the last fixture date and the next one (possibly today)

E.g. ?date=past,2023-05-04

Would return any fixtures from July or August 2023

?type=<type>

<type> can be any one of the following values:

  • league any league fixtures
  • qualifier any knockout fixtures
  • tournament any tournaments

E.g. ?type=league

?notes=<note>

Only show dates, and their fixtures, where a note is present and starts with <note>

Use ?notes=only-with-fixtures to hide any notes where there are no fixtures, or other filters exclude them.

?team=<team>

Only show fixtures where the home team or away team is <team>.

Will also show any tournament where <team> is selected to play.

E.g. ?team=Riverside

#show-who-is-playing

Show who is playing per tournament fixture. This will expand all tournaments that match other filters.

not(...)

Any of the filters above, which start with ? can be combined with not(...) to invert the filter. For example the following can be used:

type=not(league)&date=not(past)

Will show any fixtures that are not in the past and are not league fixtures.
