Roblox Crashes or Does Not Launch

If Roblox crashes on startup or fails to launch entirely, follow these steps.

Quick Fixes

1. Restart Your Computer

A simple restart often fixes temporary issues with processes and memory.

2. Update Windows

Make sure Windows is fully updated:

• Go to Settings → Update & Security → Windows Update
• Click Check for updates
• Install any pending updates and restart

3. Update Graphics Drivers

Outdated GPU drivers are a common cause of crashes:

• NVIDIA: Download from nvidia.com/drivers
• AMD: Download from amd.com/support
• Intel: Download from intel.com/support

NexusStrap-Specific Fixes

Disable Conflicting FFlags

Some FastFlags can cause crashes. In NexusStrap:

1. Go to FastFlags in Settings
2. Click Reset Configuration to clear all custom flags
3. Try launching Roblox again

Check Anti-Cheat Settings

1. Go to Anti-Cheat in the Settings sidebar
2. Click Scan Flags to check for flags that may trigger anti-cheat
3. Remove any flagged items

Crash Recovery

NexusStrap includes automatic crash recovery. If Roblox crashes:

• NexusStrap will automatically attempt to relaunch it
• You can configure this in Settings → Bootstrapper → Crash Recovery

Close Roblox Crash Handler

The Roblox Crash Handler uses significant memory:

1. Go to Bootstrapper settings
2. Enable Close Crash Handler
3. This reduces memory usage and can prevent conflicts

If Nothing Works

1. Open NexusStrap Settings
2. Go to Log Viewer in the sidebar
3. Check the log files for error details
4. Report an issue with:
   • The error message
   • Your log file contents
   • Your Windows version and GPU model
