Fix MacOS patch failing
Fix instance issues when updating
Fixes the instance name being dropped when selfupdating.
Tidy up some pointless warnings
Some warnings/errors were firing even when they weren't really errors. This fixes that.
Improve multi-instance update behavior
Fixes some edge cases that could lead to a broken install when an update happens while multiple instances are being launched.
Merge local cowork/code sessions
Implements merging the folders for cowork/code sessions between the "main" instance of the modified client, and the original client (if present). Does not apply if using the multi-instance functionality.
Fix cowork + install ARM-native claude on Windows on arm
Fixes cowork properly by downloading the correct files from the MSIX installer and registering our own version of the cowork service if necessary.
Downloads the correct native Claude version (ARM or x64) depending on the machine.
Copies existing cowork chats on first install (if a normal Claude install is already present).
Remove nodejs dependency
Reworked the launcher so that asar handling is done in native go code, so there is no need to have nodejs installed.
Injection overhaul
This release moves the patcher over from simply patching the existing JS files to instead pointing package.json to a wrapper.js script, which sets everything up before the application starts.
This should make it far, far more robust to future changes to the application, which is why I've switched it to updating to new versions of it by default, even if they're unverified.
Fix for MacOS and new claude desktop versions
Fixes a bug with MacOS releases
Fixes a bug that was preventing injection on newer claude desktops
Adds uninstall scripts to clean up
Fix magic link login + Don't elevate + Improve extension loading reliability
A bunch of changes.
The installer now prompts you to uninstall the original client, so that magic link login works again.
It also no longer runs elevated unless it's required to update, in which case it only elevates temporarily and never launches the client itself elevated (fixes a bunch of issues).
Additionally, I've added a "sentinel" extension which will trigger the page to reload, to fix some instances where extensions are being stubborn about not loading.
Overall, this should make the whole thing more reliable.
