Concorde Edition. Aircrafts database

The Concorde typically comes with no database been pre-installed.
It is indicated at device boot time by the following message:



Database installation


Make sure that the card is empty and has been formatted properly.

  1. Create Aircrafts folder in root directory of your card ;


  1. Download most recent .CDB file that contains OGN Aircrafts Data from this location ;

Important

Make sure that the file you've downloaded has valid size and MD5 hash ('checksum').

  1. Copy ogn.cdb file into 'Aircrafts' folder. This is how the disk should look like:

  1. Make safe disconnect of the micro-SD card from the PC.
    Plug the card into the Concorde and power the device on.
    When the data is loaded properly - it is indicated by the following screen:


Description of data shown on this screen:

  1. aircrafts in total
  2. registration number of this aircraft
  3. make and model
  4. competition/tail number

Add your device into OGN DDB

  1. Visit OGN DDB Wiki page at this location. Register your Concorde Edition in the database in accordance with the instructions provided there. Use the Concorde Device ID HEX number from the 'Status Screen' ;

  2. Wait until 3:01 or 15:01 of UTC time (whatever is closer). The .CDB file at this location gets converted from data of official OGN DDB server twice a day automatically ;

  3. Download the .CDB file and copy it into 'Aircrafts' folder of the micro-SD card ;

Important

Make sure that the file you've downloaded has valid size and MD5 hash ('checksum').

  1. Shut the Concorde down, plug the card into the slot, then power the device back on. When the data gets loaded - it will identify your device as follows:
