The goal of PR3 is to tighten up major features from PR2.
Packaging
Support packaging for Mac, Windows and Linux from Titanium Developer to the cloud. Developers will be given URLs to their packaged applications after the packaging process completes. They will also have the option to make their distribution private or public. Public distributions will be available for download via a new Application Showcase page. This page will be fairly lightweight initially. It will display all apps that have been publicly published; it will allow you to download and run the app, and it will allow searching for apps.
Modules
Ensure that modules are solid across all supported languages: C++, Ruby, Python and Javascript. Ensure that modules can be created at both the Titanium Runtime level and at the application level, and that they work well when used within a Titanium-based application.
Ensure that the Titanium Developer product properly reads modules from all support locations (i.e., runtime and application) and ensure that these modules are read in at launch time versus at startup time.
Doc
We need to make sure that our doc site is complete and accurate. It would also be good to include instructions for creating and using modules along with a few examples in the different support programming languages.
