What's new

• Reg A 253G2 offering circulars in get_recent_offerings(form="A") (#25) — now returns the Form 1-A statements plus the qualified 253G2 circulars, where the per-share price and any "price walk-up" live.
• Tool-description caveats (#24) — FTS only indexes 2001+; XBRL metrics can span fiscal periods.

Fix

• Pin mcp[cli]<2 (#27). mcp 2.0.0 removed mcp.server.fastmcp; without the bound a fresh uvx install pulled 2.0.0 and failed to start. 0.1.2 shipped with the loose pin and is broken on fresh install — use 0.1.3.

edgar-mcp v0.1.0

First release of edgar-mcp — SEC EDGAR filings, inside your agent. 11 read-only tools over public SEC data: resolve issuers (public & private), browse/search filings, screen Reg CF / Reg D / Reg A raises and parse their economics, XBRL financials, and insider trades. No API key.

Install

• Claude Desktop (one-click): download mcpwright-edgar-0.1.0.mcpb below → Settings → Extensions → Install from file… Optionally set your SEC User-Agent contact string when prompted (the SEC's fair-access policy asks for it).

The .mcpb is a uv-type bundle: the host installs the correct-platform dependencies at install time (no vendored libs). Same recipe as census-mcp, verified working in Claude Desktop.
