Chart api getting started

Introduction

Movable Type Chart API provides a library for drawing some charts.

Features

  • Can easily draw the various charts
  • Cross-browser compatibility
  • Auto scaling, Auto resizing

Required libraries

  • jQuery 1.9.1 or higher

    Bundled with Movable Type 6

Also, the following libraries are required. However, it already bundled with Chart API Library.

  • jquery.debouncedresize.js
  • Raphael
  • Morris
  • EaselJS

Optional libraries

In order to use some features, additional libraries are required.

  • jQuery UI slider

    Required to use the slider feature.

  • Underscore

    Required to use the underscore template engine.

Usage

Add these three lines to you page.

<link rel="stylesheet" href="/mt-static/chart-api/mtchart.css">
<script src="/mt-static/jquery/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="/mt-static/chart-api/mtchart.min.js"></script>

You should replace /mt-static/ to your mt-static url.
