As soon as the game starts, the first screen that the player is able to see is the message of “LICENSED BY NINTENDO”, written using the main in-game font, followed by a short video in which the Capcom logo appears and disappears using a transition effect.
After this transition, the game title shows up, it gets closer, the company name and release date appear in screen, and the subtitle “The World Warrior” comes together using a transition, giving visibility to the title screen.
It is then when, in order to play de game, the player has to press the button “Start”. However if he or she waits long enough, a new screen will appear showing the following attributes of one of the playable characters:
