Bugfix release for the ButterBot robot. Use it with the controller mod v3 – the controller has no changes.

  • Fix: after SHUTDOWN, HAL sings Daisy Bell and the controller now shows its shutdown screen before the robot powers off (it used to jump straight to the pairing screen).

Everything else is as in v3. Coming from v3, flashing only the app is enough; from v1 / v2, flash all partitions once (the partition table changed in v3).

No ESP-IDF needed – only Python and pip install esptool. Step-by-step: Flash without building.

  • ButterBot-OVERKLOKING-v3.1-robot-full.bin – one file, flash at 0x0. Simplest, but erases saved settings, owner face and IR codes.
  • ButterBot-OVERKLOKING-v3.1-robot-parts.zip – keeps settings; flash with @flash_args, instructions in FLASH.txt.
  • SHA256SUMS-robot.txt – checksums.

⚠️ Don't flash the robot with plain idf.py flash / --after hard_reset.
