本次更新
- 5GHz EHT160 启动修复:改用前台 CAC,规避后台 CAC 找不到临时可用信道时 AP 初始化失败。保留 DFS/雷达检测,升级迁移保留用户的频宽、信道、SSID 和密码;首次默认仍为 channel 36 / EHT80 / 请求 29dBm,不强制把用户选择的 160MHz 改回 80MHz。DFS 检测期间 5GHz 暂时不广播,本次 channel 36 实测约 60 秒。
- 修正出厂管理员密码:直接在系统镜像预置公开默认密码
password的哈希,不再仅依赖首启脚本;保留配置升级不覆盖已有密码。 - 交流群提示:修改管理员密码页增加“本固件交流群 1061612207”,含英文翻译,保持 Argon 主题和密码提交逻辑不变。
6GHz 默认仍是 channel 37 / EHT160 / 802.11s 空密钥禁用模板。2.4GHz、10G/PPE/NPU、Full Cone、Docker、iStore、PassWall2、OpenClash及风扇策略沿用 v1.4。

已有兼容 U-Boot 不需要再次更新。 同一下载区已附上 Wiro U-Boot v1.0.0 的原始已验证文件;它不是 1.5 系统镜像。其上游署名、许可证及对应源码书面提供承诺见该专页,本次原样附带,不改版本或二进制。
- 后台:系统 → 备份/升级,上传 sysupgrade ITB。
- Wiro Recovery:选择“系统固件双清”,先备份。此操作会清除旧配置和 overlay 中的 Docker 等数据。红灯通常闪烁约三分钟,必须等页面 100%、绿灯常亮、系统可访问,不要中途断电。
- 旧兼容 HTTP U-Boot:Firmware → UBI 2.0 - 439 MiB,使用同一个 sysupgrade ITB。
- 不要把系统 ITB 上传到 Update U-Boot。
- 干净安装:管理地址 192.168.50.1,用户名 root,初始密码 password。2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi 初始无密码;6GHz Mesh 空密钥默认关闭。请单独有线连接后立即设置管理员和无线密码。
- 保留配置升级继续使用原地址和密码。两台干净设备不要同时入网,以免 DHCP/地址冲突。

验证与来源
无线修复已在两台 XR1710G 上分别通过 EHT160 无线重载及软件重启验证;1.5 镜像通过完整离线内容、版本、密码和翻译检查。内核、设备树、wpad、mt76/MT7996 等关键二进制与 1.4 逐字节相同。维护者确认后发布;新镜像完整刷后验收尚无记录,不把历史 10G/Mesh 测速当成本版新增结果,也不作所有环境零故障承诺。
源码变更 · 上游署名与许可证。本项目不是 OpenWrt、iStoreOS 或硬件厂商官方发布,各组件继续适用原许可证。

Unofficial community firmware for Gemtek XR1710G (Airoha AN7581 + MediaTek MT7996).
Changes from v1.4
- 5GHz EHT160 startup: use foreground CAC to avoid AP initialization failure when background CAC has no available temporary channel. DFS remains enabled. Migration keeps owner width/channel/SSID/security; the factory setting remains channel 36 / EHT80 / requested 29dBm. Wait for CAC before expecting the AP to broadcast (approximately 60 seconds on channel 36 in our test).
- Factory login: seed the hash for the public default administrator password password directly in the image. Preserved upgrades retain the existing password.
- Password-page notice: add “Firmware community QQ group: 1061612207” with Chinese translation; no change to Argon styling or password submission.
No kernel, Ethernet/Wi-Fi driver, plugin or U-Boot upgrade. The 2.4GHz/6GHz settings, 10G/PPE/NPU, Docker, iStore, Full Cone, PassWall2, OpenClash and fan policies retain the v1.4 baseline. The 6GHz template remains channel 37 / EHT160 / 802.11s, disabled with an empty key.
Download and flash
Four files are provided: sysupgrade ITB (system firmware), xr1710g-wiro-uboot-recovery-v1.0.0-flash-slot.bin (optional U-Boot, only for Update U-Boot), SHA256SUMS.txt (checksums for both binaries), and FLASHING-GUIDE.md (bilingual instructions). GitHub's source archives are not flashable firmware.
Use System → Backup / Flash Firmware, Wiro Recovery System Firmware Double-Clean, or compatible legacy HTTP U-Boot Firmware → UBI 2.0 - 439 MiB. Never upload a system ITB to Update U-Boot. Existing compatible U-Boot does not need reflashing; Wiro U-Boot v1.0.0 is also attached here unchanged. Its version remains v1.0.0; upstream attribution, licenses and the written corresponding-source offer remain available on that dedicated release page.
Double-clean erases old configuration and overlay data. Back up first; wait for 100%, a solid green LED and a reachable system. The red LED commonly blinks for about three minutes. Never interrupt power.
Clean login: 192.168.50.1 / root / password. Initial 2.4/5GHz networks are open; the empty-key 6GHz Mesh is disabled. Connect one unit by Ethernet and set passwords immediately. Preserved upgrades keep existing address/password.
The initial UI is Chinese. Open System → System → Language and Style (系统 → 系统 → 语言和界面), select English, and click Save & Apply (保存并应用).
Validation and attribution
The live Wi-Fi fix passed EHT160 reload and software-reboot checks on two units. The 1.5 image passed offline content/version/credential/translation checks; kernel, device tree, wpad and mt76/MT7996 binaries match v1.4. Publication is approved by the maintainer; complete new-image post-flash acceptance is not recorded. Historical 10G/Mesh benchmarks are not new v1.5 results or guarantees for every environment.

v1.4.0 新增与修复
- 修复 LAN 编辑页报错和静态 IPv4 CIDR 保存:裸地址按
/24规范化,旧式ipaddr + netmask自动转换,降低重启后 LAN/DHCP 配置失效风险。 - 修复首页错误跳转到“状态 → 概况”;iStoreX/QuickStart 首页路由不再依赖服务启动时序。
- 风扇合并为单一控制器,加入低温最低稳定档、阶梯升速、迟滞和传感器异常兜底。
- 修复 Dockerman 对 Moby 29 信息结构的兼容;Docker 未启动时显示明确提示和启用入口。
- 删除 GlassTheme 及其中文包;干净首启默认 Argon,Sysupgrade 保留用户已有主题。
- 6GHz 首次模板设为
US / channel 37 / EHT160 / 802.11s / network=lan;空 SAE 密钥时默认禁用。 - 修复 MT7996 NPU RX 入口网卡信息,让 PPE 缓存未命中后的 bridge/FDB 软件回退保留正确上下文。
- 加入 10G bridge/PPE 本机流量保护,拒绝将本地 FDB、路由器本机目标和同入口回注流错误绑定回 10G GDM4。

kmod-nft-fullcone与配套 libnftnl/nftables/firewall4/LuCI 支持,默认关闭。 - 预装 PassWall2
26.8.20、Xray26.7.28、sing-box1.13.19和 firewall4 原生 nftables 透明代理路径,默认关闭;不要与 OpenClash 同时启用。 - 初始管理员密码为
password;2.4/5GHz 不预置 Wi-Fi 密码,6GHz 空密钥 Mesh 模板保持禁用。
加速边界
有线路由/转发使用 Airoha PPE 硬件 flow offload,MT7996 使用 Airoha NPU 队列。802.11s Mesh Header 仍由 mac80211 生成;本版没有加入未经证明的 802.11s 端到端 PPE 直通。
实机与镜像验证
- Recovery 与 Sysupgrade 均通过最终内容门禁,关键 rootfs 内容一致。
- XR1710G
wan与测试对端协商 10Gbps Full,lan1与 NAS 协商 5Gbps Full。 - 15 秒、4 并发 TCP:XR → NAS 约 3.85Gbps,NAS → XR 约 1.69Gbps。
- 两端口最终
rx/tx errors=0,压力期间没有新增 Link Down、watchdog、DMA/NPU timeout、firmware crash 或 kernel panic。
该结果证明本次线材、对端和直连本机端点条件下的载波与传输稳定性,不代表所有交换机、运营商、路由/NAT 或异构桥接拓扑。
既有两台 XR1710G 在约 5 米、隔木质楼梯和水泥楼板的摆位中,手动使用 XZ/channel 37/EHT320 完成约 10 分钟、20 次双向回程测试:中位数约 715/720Mbps,最低约 678/671Mbps,满载后双向各 600 Ping 均 0% 丢包。该数据是特定环境和手动 EHT320 配置的结果,不是默认 EHT160 的保证。

New and fixed in v1.4.0
- Fixes the LAN editor exception and static IPv4 CIDR persistence. Bare addresses are normalized to
/24, while legacyipaddr + netmaskdata is converted automatically. - Fixes the home page redirecting to Status → Overview. iStoreX/QuickStart home routes no longer depend on service-start timing.
- Uses one fan controller with a low-temperature minimum stable step, staged increases, hysteresis, and sensor-failure fallback.
- Makes Dockerman compatible with the Moby 29 information structure and provides a clear stopped-state message and enable action.
- Removes GlassTheme and its Chinese package. Clean installations default to Argon; Sysupgrade preserves the owner's current theme.
- Sets the clean 6GHz template to
US / channel 37 / EHT160 / 802.11s / network=lan; it remains disabled while the SAE key is empty. - Preserves the ingress netdev on MT7996 NPU RX so bridge/FDB software fallback retains the correct context after a PPE cache miss.
- Adds 10G bridge/PPE local-flow protection for local-FDB, router-destination, and same-ingress reinjection traffic.

password; 2.4/5GHz have no preset Wi-Fi password, while the empty-key 6GHz Mesh template remains disabled.
Acceleration boundary
Wired routing and forwarding use Airoha PPE hardware flow offload, while MT7996 uses Airoha NPU queues. mac80211 still builds the 802.11s Mesh Header; this release does not include an unverified end-to-end 802.11s PPE bypass.
Physical and image validation
- Both Recovery and Sysupgrade passed the final image-content gate with matching critical rootfs content.
- XR1710G
wannegotiated 10Gbps Full with the test peer, whilelan1negotiated 5Gbps Full with the NAS. - A 15-second, four-stream TCP test measured about 3.85Gbps from XR to NAS and 1.69Gbps from NAS to XR.
- Both ports ended at
rx/tx errors=0, with no new Link Down, watchdog, DMA/NPU timeout, firmware crash, or kernel panic during the load.
This establishes carrier and direct local-endpoint transfer stability with the tested cable and peer. It is not a guarantee for every switch, ISP, routed/NAT, or heterogeneous bridge topology.
An earlier two-unit test at approximately five metres across a wooden staircase and concrete floor used XZ/channel 37/EHT320 manually. Twenty bidirectional backhaul tests over about ten minutes had medians near 715/720Mbps and minima near 678/671Mbps; two post-load 600-packet Ping runs had 0% loss. This is a result for that environment and manual EHT320 configuration, not a guarantee for the default EHT160 template.

The initial address is 192.168.50.1, the user is root, and the initial password is password. The initial 2.4/5GHz networks have no password and are open; connect one unit by Ethernet and immediately replace the administrator password and configure wireless encryption. The 6GHz Mesh template is disabled until both nodes have matching Mesh IDs and SAE keys.

重要刷写规则
- 仅适用于 Gemtek XR1710G,不要刷到其他型号。
- 只能把本 Release 的
flash-slot.bin上传到 更新 U-Boot / Update U-Boot 页面。 - 不要刷写 raw

Recovery 地址与自动 DHCP
电脑网卡设置为“自动获得 IP 地址”。进入 Recovery 后,DHCP 会自动给直连电脑分配:

不再需要手动设置 192.168.255.2。
系统固件双清
“系统固件双清”会清除旧 overlay、Docker 数据、历史配置和残留启动环境,并重新建立 UBI、Factory 与空的 rootfs_data,减少混刷不同版本后出现莫名异常的概率。
双清不会把 U-Boot 文件写进系统分区,也不会把系统 ITB 当作 U-Boot。EEPROM、caldata、坏块信息和 U-Boot 槽位在系统固件双清过程中保持受保护状态。
刷系统固件时红灯通常会闪烁约 3 分钟,具体时间会因镜像与设备状态略有差异。必须等待页面显示 100%、绿灯常亮并且系统能够正常进入,才算完成。整个过程严禁断电。
本项目新增与重做的内容
- Wiro 中英文 Recovery Web UI;
- U-Boot 自更新与整槽擦写、写后回读、错误锁存;
- Recovery 自动 DHCP 与 XR1710G 交换机端口初始化;
- 系统固件双清、UBI 2.0 重建、Factory 恢复和空

crc32、sha1、sha256兼容校验及强哈希门禁; - 固定缓冲区的零动态分配 UBI 全量回读,避免大镜像回读内存不足;

使用的上游与第三方内容
本版本是经过修改的 U-Boot 发行版,并非从零编写整个 U-Boot。以下项目或组件为本版本提供了上游代码、平台支持、封装参考或运行库:
- Das U-Boot:基础引导程序及通用框架,GPL-2.0-or-later;
- YYH2913/http-uboot:XR1710G / AN7581 基线支持、chainloader 槽位封装布局与相关参考组件;本次发布已取得许可;
- lwIP:Recovery 网络与 HTTP 基础组件,BSD 风格许可证;
- Mbed TLS:U-Boot 源码树内的密码学组件,适用其原许可证;
- libfdt / Device Tree Compiler:FIT、FDT 与设备树处理组件,适用其原许可证;
- Airoha / MediaTek 平台代码与设备支持:继续保留原版权和许可证声明。
Wiro Recovery 流程、安全校验、双清逻辑、DHCP 适配、中英文 Web UI 和本项目测试门禁由本项目完成。所有上游与第三方组件继续分别遵循其版权声明和适用许可证。
GPLv2 §3(b) 对应源码书面提供承诺
本仓库维护者及本二进制分发者向任何第三方承诺:应请求提供与本次二进制精确对应的完整、机器可读源码,包括用于控制编译和安装的脚本,并依 GPLv2 第 1、2 条提供。
请在本仓库 GitHub Issues 中创建标题为 Corresponding Source Request / 对应源码请求 的 Issue。电子交付免费;如请求实体介质,收费不超过实际执行源码实体分发的成本。本承诺至少有效至 2029-09-02;如果此后仍继续分发本二进制,则自最后一次分发之日起至少再有效三年。
当前固件与后续方向
XR1710G 社区系统固件已更新至 v1.5.0,包含 5GHz EHT160 启动修复、出厂管理员密码修正和交流群提示。本 U-Boot 仍为 v1.0.0,无需因系统升级而重复刷写。
后续 Wiro 系统方向将重点适配:更简单的网络配置、跨设备 Mesh 简易组网和更直观的设备管理。Wiro 系统暂不计划作为开源固件发布;感兴趣的用户可以加入交流群关注后续进展。

This is the dedicated Wiro U-Boot Recovery release for the Gemtek XR1710G (Airoha AN7581). It is intended to clean up inconsistent boot environments and stale system data left by mixing different U-Boot or firmware builds, while providing a simpler low-level recovery workflow.
Real-device validation has passed for U-Boot self-update, automatic Recovery DHCP, system double-clean, full write/readback verification, Factory restoration, fresh rootfs_data creation, delivery of the 100% completion state, and automatic boot into the installed system.

Flashing safety
- For the Gemtek XR1710G only. Do not use it on another model.
- Upload the released
flash-slot.binonly through Update U-Boot. - Never flash a raw
u-boot.bin, and never upload this U-Boot file through System Firmware Double-Clean. - Compatible XR1710G system firmware
*.itbfiles belong on the double-clean page. - Verify SHA-256 first. Do not remove power, reset the device, or disconnect the cable after uploading starts.
Set the directly connected computer to DHCP. Recovery automatically assigns 192.168.255.2/24; open http://192.168.255.1/ for the Recovery UI.
System Firmware Double-Clean removes the previous overlay, Docker data, configuration, and stale boot environment, then reconstructs UBI, Factory, and a fresh empty rootfs_data. EEPROM, caldata, bad-block information, and the U-Boot slot remain protected during this operation.
The red LED normally blinks for approximately three minutes while system firmware is being written. The operation is complete only after the page reaches 100%, the green LED remains solid, and the installed system is reachable. Never disconnect power during this process.

Upstream and third-party components
This is a modified U-Boot distribution, not a wholly original U-Boot implementation written from scratch. It uses or derives from:
- Das U-Boot — bootloader framework, GPL-2.0-or-later;
- YYH2913/http-uboot — XR1710G / AN7581 baseline support, chainloader slot packaging layout, and related reference components; permission has been obtained for this release;
- lwIP — networking and HTTP components, BSD-style license;
- Mbed TLS — cryptographic components included in the U-Boot source tree, under its applicable license;
- libfdt / Device Tree Compiler — FIT/FDT and device-tree handling, under their applicable licenses;
- Airoha / MediaTek platform code and device support, retaining their original copyright and license notices.
The Wiro Recovery workflow, safety validation, double-clean logic, DHCP adaptation, bilingual Web UI, and project-specific test gates were implemented by this project. All upstream and third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses and copyright notices.

Current firmware and roadmap
XR1710G community firmware is now v1.5.0, with the 5GHz EHT160 startup fix, factory-login correction and community notice. This U-Boot remains v1.0.0 and does not need reflashing for the system update.
Future Wiro firmware work will focus on simpler network configuration, easier cross-device Mesh setup, and clearer device management. Wiro system firmware is not currently planned as an open-source firmware release. Join the community group above for future updates.

验证状态
相关底层和功能已在两台XR1710G上通过运行态热修、游戏稳定性、双向UDP、6GHz Mesh和双机吞吐测试。最终Recovery/Sysupgrade还通过了完整离线镜像门禁,Recovery与永久rootfs关键文件一致,结果为VERIFY PASSED。
维护者决定不再把这两个最终ITB重新刷入设备复验,因此本版标记为Pre-release。既有约5米、隔木质楼梯和水泥楼板的双机测试中,6GHz回程20轮均超过400Mbps,中位数约715/720Mbps;这些数据是既有实机配置证据,不代表所有环境,也不等同于本次最终ITB的刷后验收。
普通用户只下载4个文件

- No preset 2.4/5GHz password. The empty-key 6GHz SAE Mesh template is disabled until the owner configures both nodes.
- Accurate disabled PPPoE/VLAN wording; ordinary port status shows only
wan,lan1,lan2, andlan3, hiding internal and wireless virtual interfaces. - The invalid software U-Boot entry is hidden on legacy YYH U-Boot while iStoreOS factory reset remains available. Physical Recovery is unchanged.
- The NPU latency probe automatically selects a WAN DNS target, remains compatible with legacy anonymous UCI sections, and no longer labels one remote latency result as “NPU bypass.”
- Clean installations default to the Linux
performancegovernor; another supported policy selected later in the Airoha page is persisted.
Validation status
The underlying changes and features were exercised on two physical XR1710G units through runtime hot fixes, game-stability checks, bidirectional UDP, 6GHz Mesh, and two-node throughput tests. The final Recovery and Sysupgrade files also passed the complete offline image gate, including equality checks between critical Recovery and permanent-rootfs content: VERIFY PASSED.
The maintainer chose not to reflash these final ITB files for another post-flash run, so v1.2.0 is marked as a Pre-release. An existing two-node test at approximately five metres across a wooden staircase and concrete floor produced 20 backhaul runs above 400Mbps with medians near 715/720Mbps. This is evidence from the previously exercised configuration, not a guarantee for every environment or a claim of final-ITB post-flash acceptance.
Ordinary users need only four files

The initial address is 192.168.50.1, the user is root, and the administrator password is empty. The 2.4/5GHz networks are also open on first boot. Connect one unit by Ethernet, set the administrator password and wireless encryption immediately, and only then attach it to the home network. The 6GHz Mesh template is disabled until both nodes have the same SAE key.

6GHz 实机验收
两台 XR1710G 相距约 5 米,中间隔木质楼梯和水泥楼板,使用 XZ / channel 37 / EHT320:
- Mesh 全程
ESTAB,信号约 -63~-67dBm。 - 约 10 分钟、20 次双向 4 并发全部超过 400Mbps。
- 双向中位数约 715/720Mbps,最低约 678/671Mbps。
- 满载后双向各 600 个空闲 Ping 均 0% 丢包。
- 无 Mesh 断链、设备重启、MT7996/MCU crash/timeout 或
airtime_link_metric_get。
测速由两台路由器本机 iperf3 完成,用于验证回程稳定性,不代表两端 2.5GbE 客户端的极限速度。

Hardware validation
Two XR1710G units about five metres apart across a wooden staircase and concrete floor were tested at XZ/channel 37/EHT320. Twenty bidirectional four-stream runs over roughly ten minutes all exceeded 400Mbps, with medians near 715/720Mbps and minima near 678/671Mbps. Mesh remained ESTAB, post-load idle Ping loss was 0%, and no critical MT7996/MCU error or reboot occurred.
Downloads and flashing
The four downloads have the same purposes listed in the Chinese section above. For YYH2913 HTTP U-Boot, choose Firmware + UBI 2.0 - 439 MiB and upload xr1710g-community-v1.1.0-sysupgrade.itb. Update U-Boot only when a compatible version is missing. Never flash a system ITB or raw u-boot.bin into the U-Boot slot.
First boot uses 192.168.50.1, user root, and an empty password. The initial UI is Simplified Chinese; switch it at System -> System -> Language and Style -> English, then click Save & Apply.
Regulatory notice
Standard country profiles remain available for normal use. XZ is an opt-in composite laboratory profile, not a country regulatory domain. This firmware does not implement AFC and does not grant Standard Power authority. Use it only for controlled laboratory work or specifically authorized testing and comply with all applicable local rules.

实机测试环境:两台 XR1710G 分别放置在楼上和楼下,节点间距离约 5 米,中间隔着木质楼梯和水泥楼板。两台设备通过只读日志验收:6 GHz Mesh ESTAB、US/CH37/EHT320、tx failed=0;未发现 firmware crash、MCU timeout、kernel panic、watchdog、UBI/I/O 错误或 airtime_link_metric_get。重启或无线重载期间的短暂 SAE 失败属于恢复过程,不代表零秒切换承诺。
Hardware test environment: the two XR1710G units were placed on different floors, approximately 5 meters apart, with a wooden staircase and a concrete floor slab between them. Both units passed read-only log acceptance: 6 GHz Mesh ESTAB, US/CH37/EHT320, and tx failed=0. No firmware crash, MCU timeout, kernel panic, watchdog, UBI/I/O error, or airtime_link_metric_get was found. Brief SAE failures during reboot or radio reload are recovery behavior, not a zero-second handoff guarantee.
The U-Boot upload-fix build is marked pre-release until additional new-device hardware validation is complete.
