这是面向 Gemtek XR1710G(Airoha AN7581) 的 Wiro U-Boot Recovery 专版,用于清理混刷不同 U-Boot、残留启动环境或旧系统数据后产生的异常,并提供更简单的底层恢复入口。
本版本已经完成真实设备验收:U-Boot 自更新、Recovery 自动 DHCP、系统固件双清、完整写入回读、Factory 恢复、空 rootfs_data 重建、页面 100% 完成状态及自动启动均已通过。

重要刷写规则
- 仅适用于 Gemtek XR1710G,不要刷到其他型号。
- 只能把本 Release 的
flash-slot.bin上传到 更新 U-Boot / Update U-Boot 页面。 - 不要刷写 raw
u-boot.bin,也不要把 U-Boot 文件上传到“系统固件双清”页面。 - XR1710G 系统固件
*.itb才上传到“系统固件双清”页面。 - 刷写前请核对 SHA-256。上传开始后严禁断电、复位或拔线。
Recovery 地址与自动 DHCP
电脑网卡设置为“自动获得 IP 地址”。进入 Recovery 后,DHCP 会自动给直连电脑分配:

192.168.255.2/24 - Recovery 管理地址:
http://192.168.255.1/
不再需要手动设置 192.168.255.2。
系统固件双清
“系统固件双清”会清除旧 overlay、Docker 数据、历史配置和残留启动环境,并重新建立 UBI、Factory 与空的 rootfs_data,减少混刷不同版本后出现莫名异常的概率。
双清不会把 U-Boot 文件写进系统分区,也不会把系统 ITB 当作 U-Boot。EEPROM、caldata、坏块信息和 U-Boot 槽位在系统固件双清过程中保持受保护状态。
刷系统固件时红灯通常会闪烁约 3 分钟,具体时间会因镜像与设备状态略有差异。必须等待页面显示 100%、绿灯常亮并且系统能够正常进入,才算完成。整个过程严禁断电。
本项目新增与重做的内容
- Wiro 中英文 Recovery Web UI;
- U-Boot 自更新与整槽擦写、写后回读、错误锁存;
- Recovery 自动 DHCP 与 XR1710G 交换机端口初始化;
- 系统固件双清、UBI 2.0 重建、Factory 恢复和空
rootfs_data重建; - FIT
crc32、sha1、sha256兼容校验及强哈希门禁; - 固定缓冲区的零动态分配 UBI 全量回读,避免大镜像回读内存不足;
- 页面 100% 终态确认、延时重启和失败禁止自动重启;
- 上传文件类型、目标槽位、DTB 对齐、边界、坏块及破坏性操作安全门禁;
- 真实 XR1710G 多轮刷写、升级、双清和异常路径验收。
使用的上游与第三方内容
本版本是经过修改的 U-Boot 发行版,并非从零编写整个 U-Boot。以下项目或组件为本版本提供了上游代码、平台支持、封装参考或运行库:
- Das U-Boot:基础引导程序及通用框架,GPL-2.0-or-later;
- YYH2913/http-uboot:XR1710G / AN7581 基线支持、chainloader 槽位封装布局与相关参考组件;本次发布已取得许可;
- lwIP:Recovery 网络与 HTTP 基础组件,BSD 风格许可证;
- Mbed TLS:U-Boot 源码树内的密码学组件,适用其原许可证;
- libfdt / Device Tree Compiler:FIT、FDT 与设备树处理组件,适用其原许可证;
- Airoha / MediaTek 平台代码与设备支持:继续保留原版权和许可证声明。
Wiro Recovery 流程、安全校验、双清逻辑、DHCP 适配、中英文 Web UI 和本项目测试门禁由本项目完成。所有上游与第三方组件继续分别遵循其版权声明和适用许可证。
GPLv2 §3(b) 对应源码书面提供承诺
本仓库维护者及本二进制分发者向任何第三方承诺:应请求提供与本次二进制精确对应的完整、机器可读源码,包括用于控制编译和安装的脚本,并依 GPLv2 第 1、2 条提供。
请在本仓库 GitHub Issues 中创建标题为 Corresponding Source Request / 对应源码请求 的 Issue。电子交付免费;如请求实体介质,收费不超过实际执行源码实体分发的成本。本承诺至少有效至 2029-09-02;如果此后仍继续分发本二进制,则自最后一次分发之日起至少再有效三年。
当前固件与后续方向
XR1710G 社区系统固件已更新至 v1.5.0,包含 5GHz EHT160 启动修复、出厂管理员密码修正和交流群提示。本 U-Boot 仍为 v1.0.0,无需因系统升级而重复刷写。
后续 Wiro 系统方向将重点适配:更简单的网络配置、跨设备 Mesh 简易组网和更直观的设备管理。Wiro 系统暂不计划作为开源固件发布;感兴趣的用户可以加入交流群关注后续进展。

This is the dedicated Wiro U-Boot Recovery release for the Gemtek XR1710G (Airoha AN7581). It is intended to clean up inconsistent boot environments and stale system data left by mixing different U-Boot or firmware builds, while providing a simpler low-level recovery workflow.
Real-device validation has passed for U-Boot self-update, automatic Recovery DHCP, system double-clean, full write/readback verification, Factory restoration, fresh rootfs_data creation, delivery of the 100% completion state, and automatic boot into the installed system.

Flashing safety
- For the Gemtek XR1710G only. Do not use it on another model.
- Upload the released
flash-slot.binonly through Update U-Boot. - Never flash a raw
u-boot.bin, and never upload this U-Boot file through System Firmware Double-Clean. - Compatible XR1710G system firmware
*.itbfiles belong on the double-clean page. - Verify SHA-256 first. Do not remove power, reset the device, or disconnect the cable after uploading starts.
Set the directly connected computer to DHCP. Recovery automatically assigns 192.168.255.2/24; open http://192.168.255.1/ for the Recovery UI.
System Firmware Double-Clean removes the previous overlay, Docker data, configuration, and stale boot environment, then reconstructs UBI, Factory, and a fresh empty rootfs_data. EEPROM, caldata, bad-block information, and the U-Boot slot remain protected during this operation.
The red LED normally blinks for approximately three minutes while system firmware is being written. The operation is complete only after the page reaches 100%, the green LED remains solid, and the installed system is reachable. Never disconnect power during this process.
What this project added or reworked

- automatic Recovery DHCP and XR1710G switch-port initialization;
- system double-clean, UBI 2.0 reconstruction, Factory restoration, and fresh
rootfs_datacreation; - FIT
crc32,sha1, andsha256compatibility with strong-hash requirements; - fixed-buffer, allocation-free full UBI readback for large images;
- reliable 100% terminal-state acknowledgement and authorized delayed reboot;
- upload-type, target-slot, DTB-alignment, boundary, bad-block, and destructive-operation safety gates;
- repeated real-device upgrade, recovery, double-clean, and failure-path validation.
Upstream and third-party components
This is a modified U-Boot distribution, not a wholly original U-Boot implementation written from scratch. It uses or derives from:
- Das U-Boot — bootloader framework, GPL-2.0-or-later;
- YYH2913/http-uboot — XR1710G / AN7581 baseline support, chainloader slot packaging layout, and related reference components; permission has been obtained for this release;
- lwIP — networking and HTTP components, BSD-style license;
- Mbed TLS — cryptographic components included in the U-Boot source tree, under its applicable license;
- libfdt / Device Tree Compiler — FIT/FDT and device-tree handling, under their applicable licenses;
- Airoha / MediaTek platform code and device support, retaining their original copyright and license notices.
The Wiro Recovery workflow, safety validation, double-clean logic, DHCP adaptation, bilingual Web UI, and project-specific test gates were implemented by this project. All upstream and third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses and copyright notices.
GPLv2 §3(b) written corresponding-source offer
The maintainer of this repository and distributor of this binary hereby offers any third party a complete machine-readable copy of the exact corresponding source code for this binary, including the scripts used to control compilation and installation, under GPLv2 §§1–2.
Open a GitHub Issue in this repository titled Corresponding Source Request / 对应源码请求. Electronic delivery will be free. If physical media are requested, any charge will not exceed the actual cost of physically performing source distribution. This offer is valid through at least 2029-09-02. If this binary continues to be distributed after that date, the offer will remain valid for at least three years after the last such distribution.
Current firmware and roadmap
XR1710G community firmware is now v1.5.0, with the 5GHz EHT160 startup fix, factory-login correction and community notice. This U-Boot remains v1.0.0 and does not need reflashing for the system update.
Future Wiro firmware work will focus on simpler network configuration, easier cross-device Mesh setup, and clearer device management. Wiro system firmware is not currently planned as an open-source firmware release. Join the community group above for future updates.
