claude-watch lets you control Claude Code from your Apple Watch. Use it to send quick commands, check status, and keep work moving without opening your computer every time.
This README shows you how to download, install, and run the app on Windows.

- Find the latest release
- Download the Windows file from that page
- Save the file to a folder you can find later
If the download comes as a ZIP file, unzip it before you open the app. If it comes as an EXE file, you can run it after the download finishes.
Before you run claude-watch, make sure your PC is ready:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- An Apple Watch
- An iPhone paired with your Apple Watch
- Claude Code set up on your computer
- A stable Wi-Fi or internet connection
For the best results, keep your iPhone and Windows PC on the same network when you first set up the app.

- Open the downloaded file
- If Windows asks for permission, choose Yes or Run
- If you downloaded a ZIP file, extract it first
- Open the app folder and launch the main executable file
If Windows shows a security message, look for the option to run the app anyway. This can happen with newer apps that are not signed.
claude-watch works through your iPhone and Apple Watch. Set up the watch app first, then link it to your Windows computer.
- Open claude-watch on your Windows PC
- Follow the on-screen setup steps
- Open the companion app on your iPhone
- Make sure your Apple Watch app is installed
- Sign in or pair the devices if the app asks you to
- Confirm that your watch can reach your computer
If the watch does not connect right away, check that both devices use the same network and that Claude Code is still running on your PC
Once setup is done, you can use your Apple Watch to send quick commands to Claude Code.
Common actions may include:
- Start a new task
- Send a short prompt
- Check if Claude Code is active
- Pause or stop a job
- Review simple status updates
Use the watch for short actions that you want to send fast. For longer work, use your computer as normal.
After you install the app, check these items:
- The app opens on Windows
- Claude Code is running on your computer
- Your iPhone is connected to the watch
- Your Apple Watch app shows the correct device
- The app can reach your PC over the network
If one step fails, restart the app and try again. Many setup problems clear after a fresh start.

- Make sure the download finished
- Right-click the file and choose Open
- Try running it as administrator
- Check that your iPhone and Windows PC are on the same network
- Make sure the app is open on the PC
- Confirm that Claude Code is running
- Restart the iPhone app and try again
- Open the file again
- Choose More info if Windows shows it
- Select Run anyway if that option appears
- Start Claude Code on your PC
- Check that it is installed in the right place
- Restart claude-watch after Claude Code is open
claude-watch uses your Windows computer as the main host. Your Apple Watch sends commands through your iPhone, then the PC handles the work in Claude Code.
This setup is useful when you want to:
- Send quick edits
- Check task progress from another room
- Keep control without sitting at your desk
- Handle simple actions with a few taps
After you unzip or install the app, you may see files like these:
- claude-watch.exe
- config.json
- README.txt
- logs folder
- assets folder
Do not move files around unless the app tells you to. Keep the app folder in one place so it can find what it needs.
claude-watch is meant to help you control Claude Code from your own devices. Keep your PC, iPhone, and Apple Watch linked to accounts you trust. If you share your computer with other people, make sure only the right user can open the app.
A typical working setup looks like this:
- Windows 11 PC
- Claude Code installed and running
- iPhone with the companion app
