Each Pure Ores material provides a complete armor set:
- Helmet
- Chestplate
- Leggings
- Boots

Armor durability is calculated separately for each armor slot from the durability multiplier. The final durability is therefore different for helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots.

- Moonstone starts at iron-like protection with improved toughness.
- Ametrine and Chrysoberyl provide seven chestplate protection.
- Sapphire provides six leggings protection and higher toughness.
- Black Diamond improves on Diamond's toughness and knockback resistance.
- Lonsdaleite has the highest listed armor values in Pure Ores.
