Troubleshooting and Compatibility
This guide describes the current GitHub source. Include your addon version, WoW client, and build source when reporting a problem.
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| The button is missing | Make sure the addon is enabled, you are outside combat, and you are in a dungeon instance with two to five party members. At least one enabled tank or healer action must be available. |
| A left- or right-click does not select someone | Check that the party member has the matching assigned role. Target selection uses assigned roles, with a self-specialization fallback. You can also target a member directly. |
| The button shows a role but clicking does not mark | Check whether you can set raid targets manually, whether you entered combat, and whether the selected icon is still enabled in settings. |
| The wrong icon appears | Open /rm and check the Tank and Healer icon menus. The two icons must differ. |
| A key does nothing | Recheck the Marking keybind picker outside combat. The binding uses the button's left-click action; there is no separate right-click keybind. |
| The button does not update immediately after a role or spec change | Give the party roster a moment to settle, then retarget the player. The addon refreshes after role, specialization, roster, and target events. |
When assigned roles are missing, a directly targeted party member may be recognized by specialization after inspect data arrives. Other party members cannot be selected by role from the button until the addon can identify their assigned role. The button is intentionally disabled in combat.

Use the bug report form. Include the addon version, WoW client, dungeon, party size, assigned roles, target, steps to reproduce, expected result, and any Lua error. Screenshots can help show the button state. Remove private information before posting logs or SavedVariables.
