Collections
Collections are custom, cross-platform groupings of games — e.g. "RPGs to finish," "Co-op games," "Favorites from 1995." They live in the Collections sidebar section.
- Favorites — a built-in collection that syncs bidirectionally with RomM.
- User collections — collections you create locally.
- RomM-synced collections — collections that exist on your RomM server. They appear in Argosy automatically after a library sync.
Edits to RomM-synced collections (rename, add/remove games) push back to RomM. First sync merges remote and local; after that, RomM is the source of truth for existing collections and re-syncs every 30 seconds.
On the Collections screen, scroll to the bottom of MY COLLECTIONS and select New Collection. Enter a name and confirm. The new collection appears in the list and, if you're signed into RomM, syncs up to the server.
From any game's detail page: press Select to open More Options, then choose Add to Collection. A modal shows every collection with a toggle — tap to toggle membership. You can also create a new collection from this modal.
From a collection's detail page: select a game and press Select > Options to remove it from that collection.
Favorites toggles directly from the game detail page.
The Collections sidebar section has two parts:
- My Collections — rows of your user and RomM-synced collections, each with a mosaic of up to 4 cover thumbnails and a game count. You can pin collections to keep them at the top.
- Browse By — virtual categories (Genres, Game Modes) that group your library without creating stored collections.
Navigate with the D-pad and open a collection with A. Long lists support fast navigation: hold L2/R2 to jump alphabetically, press X to type-to-search, and Argosy keeps your scroll position when you back out. The same fast-travel and search apply inside a collection's game list and the Genres/Game Modes categories.
Open a collection's detail page, press Select > Options, and choose Download All (N). Argosy queues every game in the collection for download. Progress shows in the Downloads section.
This is the recommended way to pre-download a large set of games for offline play — rather than bulk-downloading a whole platform (which Argosy deliberately does not offer), put the games you actually want into a collection and download that.
Download All is also available on Genres and Game Modes virtual categories.
