DataAgent 0.8.0

adds src/cosmos: a Cosmos SQL query over REST with the account key, from Query or InputFile, with @day, @from and @to, optional freshness checks, continuation paging and date/code/sort/column shaping. stored ISO timestamps remain strings.

the Cosmos source requires PowerShell 7.5. existing adapters retain the PowerShell 7.4 baseline. runtime helper pins and other adapters are unchanged. DataAgent and DataAgent.Test are 0.8.0.

reviewed in #17 (refs #16). offline acceptance, capability/pin checks and three-platform CI pass. these are not live-provider tests.

DataAgent 0.7.5

Adds optional filename_date_pattern passthrough during the existing cleanup step, using Clear-Files 1.2.0.0. The helper owns matching and retention.

1. Missing keys retain mtime/format-only behavior. Explicit empty/null patterns reach the helper and refuse before cleanup or adapters.
2. Cleanup placement, keepdays, purge patterns, adapters, output and cache policy are unchanged.
3. Production and optional test companion are version 0.7.5. The capability brief and CI helper installation pin match the runtime.
4. 130 whole-runner acceptance checks, native CLR resolver checks, helper pins, capabilities and local package roundtrip pass. No caller configuration is migrated by this release.

DataAgent 0.7.4

Fix recursive settings arrays introducing PSObject wrappers that compiled cmdlets such as Invoke-Sqlcmd reject. Native foreach now preserves actual CLR element types. No SQL-specific cast, adapter change or cleanup change.

Native Type.GetTypeArray regression is red on the old pipeline and green on the repair.113 acceptance checks, CLR string/mixed/null/list/nested/env/credential cases, package checks and real SQL validation against closed loopback port1 pass. Windows, Linux and macOS CI passed the exact reviewed head.

Clear-Files remains pinned to1.1.0.0. No automatic caller migration or fleet installation.

DataAgent 0.7.3

Optional filename_date_format passes to Clear-Files -FilenameDateFormat during the existing cleanup step. Clear-Files is now pinned to1.1.0.0. Install that exact helper version for jobs using cleanup.

Omission keeps filesystem-age behavior. Explicit formats use the helper's fixed-width calendar-day contract, retain the cutoff day and never fall back to mtime on invalid filename dates. Cleanup placement, patterns, keepdays, logs and all adapters stay unchanged.

Invoke-DataAgent also takes a settings file path, and the run works in that file's folder. env:NAME values resolve from the environment at run start (an unset one stops the run by name), and an object with exactly username and password becomes a PSCredential, so a job is two lines.
