Installation

Requires macOS Sonoma 14 or newer.

Homebrew

brew install --cask roypadina/tap/maccyplus

Release zip

Download the .zip from the latest release, unzip, and move MaccyPlus.app to /Applications.

First launch (not notarized)

MaccyPlus is self-signed, not notarized, so macOS may block it the first time. Either right-click MaccyPlus in /Applications → Open (once), or clear the quarantine flag:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/MaccyPlus.app"

It is a menu bar app (no Dock icon). When prompted, grant Accessibility so paste works. See Permissions.

Build from source

git clone https://github.com/roypadina/maccyplus.git
cd maccyplus
xcodebuild build -project Maccy.xcodeproj -scheme Maccy -destination 'platform=macOS'

Tests: xcodebuild test -project Maccy.xcodeproj -scheme Maccy -destination 'platform=macOS'. The project does not use Xcode synchronized file groups, so a new .swift file must be added to Maccy.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj by hand.
