Troubleshooting
macOS says the app cannot be opened. MaccyPlus is not notarized. Right-click → Open once, or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/MaccyPlus.app". See Installation.
Selecting an item does not paste. Enable "Paste automatically" in Preferences, and make sure MaccyPlus is enabled under Privacy & Security → Accessibility. See Permissions.
Reveal in Finder does nothing. Allow the "control Finder" prompt (Privacy & Security → Automation). Also check the rule matches (kind = file path) and sits above any broader rule.
A rule does not fire. Rules match top to bottom and auto-run fires the first match. Check conditions with all vs any, and reorder with rules move.
The CLI says permission denied with --file. The app is sandboxed. Use --json or pipe the JSON on stdin. See Command line.
The CLI path breaks. The binary path has a space. Quote it.
A hotkey is "already used in some system setting". Open System Settings → Keyboard → Keyboard Shortcuts, find and disable the clash, restart MaccyPlus, then assign the hotkey again.
The footer is gone. Enable it in Preferences → Appearance, or run defaults write com.royp.MaccyPlus showFooter 1.
A shortcut stops working in password fields. If it produces a character (like Option+C), macOS security can block it there. Remap it to a different combination such as Cmd+Shift+C.
