Blocks
This page introduces the furniture and utility blocks used around your workshop and town. For production machines, see Workstations.
The Wardrobe opens your apparel equipment screen. Place it with two blocks of vertical space and right-click either half to change clothes, select wearing styles, or adjust body appearance.
Your equipped clothes belong to your player, so another Wardrobe opens the same apparel equipment. See Garments for slots and customization.
Mannequins display outfits using full, upper, lower, or head forms. Available variants include white and black finishes, with Classic and Slim arm options on the full and upper forms.
- Right-click while holding a garment to equip an available supported slot.
- Sneak-right-click the relevant body part to remove its garment.
- Right-click with an empty hand to open clothing, pose, and rotation controls.
Choose a form with the body parts your outfit needs. A mannequin can also be linked to a shop using a Smart Phone.
Attach a Wall Hanger to a sturdy wall. A regular hanger accepts supported tops and outerwear; a Clip Wall Hanger accepts bottoms.
Right-click with a compatible garment to hang it, or with an empty hand to take it back. Sneaking bypasses this interaction.
Clothing Racks can stand on a floor or attach to a wall. Regular and Clip variants follow the same clothing categories as Wall Hangers.
Aim at a hanging position to insert or remove a garment. Extend a matching rack from its end to connect it; sneak-place a floor rack to keep it separate.
| Rack position | Available hanging positions |
|---|---|
| Single floor rack | 2 |
| Connected floor end | 3 |
| Connected floor middle | 4 |
| Wall rack | 4 |
Mirrors reflect nearby surroundings and worn apparel. Use them in changing areas, bedrooms, storefronts, or displays.
| Type | Use |
|---|---|
| Mirror Panel | A thin mirror surface. |
| Mirror Block | A full block with reflective surfaces. |
| Table Mirror | A small furniture mirror. |
| Full-Length Mirror | A tall mirror for checking an outfit. |
| Mirrored Door | A functional door with a mirror. |
Furniture variants include iron and wood finishes. Make Mirror Panels by applying Mirror Coating Fluid with a Create Spout, then use panels in the relevant crafting recipes. Check JEI for the required base item and quantities.
Client settings control reflection quality, distance, and refresh rates. Lower these if many visible mirrors affect performance.
| Block | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Cash Register | Links a staffed shop to clothing storage and displays. |
| Fashion Poster | A wall advertisement, one block wide and two blocks tall. |
| Billboard Panel | Joins matching panels into a rectangular printed advertisement. |
| Digital Signage Panel | Joins panels into a screen showing a shared channel. |
| Signage Broadcaster | Publishes up to nine photos to a named signage channel. |
Arrange matching Billboard or Digital Signage Panels in one plane and direction to build a larger rectangle. Sneak-place panels to start a separate group. Posters remain individual wall displays.
See Other for shop links, printing, and broadcasting.
Citizen Gauges mount on walls and manage District population. Route Markers are placed and edited with a Smart Phone to guide Citizens. Normal, Crossing, and Gateway marker types serve different movement roles.
See Citizen for setup and controls.
Cotton, Flax, and Hemp grow on farmland from their seeds. Harvest mature plants for raw textile materials and more seeds. Process their materials in a Millstone before spinning.
