| Material | Main production route |
|---|---|
| Cotton | Cotton Boll → Millstone → Cotton Fiber → Spinning Machine → Cotton Thread → Loom. |
| Linen | Flax → Millstone → Flax Fiber → Spinning Machine → Linen Thread → Loom. |
| Hemp | Hemp → Millstone → Hemp Fiber → Spinning Machine → Hemp Thread → Loom. |
| Wool | Wool → Spinning Machine → Wool Thread → Loom. |
| Silk | Cocoon → Spinning Machine → Silk Thread → Loom. |
| Leather | Leather, Bone Meal, and water → Basin with Mechanical Mixer → Leather Fabric. |
| Synthetic | Synthetic Fiber → Spinning Machine → Synthetic Thread → Loom. |
Each Loom recipe consumes four matching threads for one fabric. Leather Fabric has no separate spinning route.
Without Destroy, make Synthetic Fiber by heated Basin mixing with Sugar, a Slimeball, and 250 mB of water. With Destroy, the standard route uses Nylon. See Other.
Break grass and ferns for a chance to obtain Cotton, Flax, or Hemp Seeds. Plant them on farmland.
Silkworms may appear when you break naturally generated leaves. Feed a larva leaves, wait for it to finish cocooning, and use Shears to collect a Cocoon. The larva can be fed again. Use a Silkworm Rearing Tray for automated Cocoons.
The seven fabric materials each have an undyed version and 33 dyed colors. White Fabric is dyed fabric, not the undyed item.
The extra colors are Cream, Beige, Greige, Tan, Navy, Cerulean, Sky, Olive, Khaki, Forest, Mint, Burgundy, Coral, Rose, Mustard, Lavender, and Plum. Use their corresponding dyes in fabric dyeing recipes.
Mix fabric with one dye and 250 mB of water to color or recolor it. Mix dyed fabric with 250 mB of water, without dye, to return it to its undyed form. These Basin recipes do not require heat.
Dye fabric before sewing. Finished garments are not recolored through these fabric recipes.
The reusable Sewing Pattern selects a garment, its design, and any secondary or accent colors used by that design.
Use it in your hand to edit it, then close the screen to save. Apply it to a Sewing Machine's filter to choose production. It is not consumed by sewing. Its fabric-color preview does not determine the actual fabric color.
The Smart Phone is a reusable tool for Citizens, routes, and shops.
| Use | Result |
|---|---|
| Use on a Villager | Convert it into a Citizen. |
| Use on a Citizen | Open its settings. |
| Hold in either hand | Show nearby routes. |
| Use ground or markers with the phone in the main hand | Edit the route network. |
| Use on a Cash Register | Select or deselect the shop for linking. |
| Sneak-use storage, a mannequin, or an advertisement while a shop is selected | Link or unlink that target. |
See Citizen and Other for the full steps.
Use a Camera on a Citizen for a paid modeling session, use it in the air for a free self-portrait, or use it on another player to request their approval.
Advertising Photos store the captured outfit and can be edited, copied, printed onto posters or billboards, or placed in a Signage Broadcaster. Printing keeps the master photo.

Gold and Silver Necklace Bases and Bracelet Bases are intermediate items. Form them with a Mechanical Press over a Basin, then use a Deployer to add a gem.
Silver-colored bases accept Iron Nuggets as well as supported Silver Nuggets. An additional silver-providing mod is not required.
Mirror Coating Fluid is used with a Spout to make Mirror Panels. Its standard fallback recipe uses heated mixing of a Zinc Nugget, Glowstone Dust, and water. Destroy can add a chemistry route; see Other.
Crush a supported garment to obtain one Old Cloth. Tailor Villagers buy Old Cloth for emeralds. Glasses, Sunglasses, Watches, Necklaces, and Bracelets are excluded from this recycling route.
Old Cloth is a disposal and trading product; it does not turn back into fabric or thread. See Tailors and recycling.
