Is the code "SAFE"? NO and it is not intended to be. We expect you to run it with privileges to run terminal commands, sometimes with sudo. Also it should be run from within an IDE. It is save in that there is no malicious code. Also we have almost always used bind variable in the SQL so code used from the examples should be save from SQL Injection. For questions contact us.
