Below are the easy steps to get SocialVideoUtility running on your Windows PC.

Click the big button at the top or visit the SocialVideoUtility GitHub Releases page. This page contains the files you need.

Look for the latest Windows installer file. It usually has a name like
SocialVideoUtility-Setup.exe. -
Click on the installer file name to download it. Save it in your Downloads folder.

Once the file finishes downloading, open your Downloads folder.

Double-click the
SocialVideoUtility-Setup.exefile to start installation. -
Follow the on-screen instructions:
- Choose your language.
- Accept the license terms.
- Select the folder where you want to install the app (the default is fine).
- Click “Install” and wait for the setup to finish.

When installation ends, leave the option to launch the program checked, then click “Finish”.

If you didn’t launch the app after installation, find the app icon on your desktop or in the Windows Start menu.

Double-click the icon to open SocialVideoUtility.

The main window will open with a list area to add videos.

To add a video, copy the video URL from your browser (for example, a Twitter or Instagram video link).

Click the “Add Video URL” button in the app.

Paste the video link into the box and press enter.

The video will appear in the list with its name and size.

You can paste multiple URLs separated by new lines into the "Add Video URL" box.

Click “Add All”, and all videos will be queued at once.

The app shows if videos already exist in your download folder and will prevent duplicates.

You can remove videos from the list by selecting them and clicking “Delete”.

After adding videos to your list, click the “Download” button.

Downloads start automatically, and you will see progress bars.

Once finished, a notification will appear.
- Click “Open Folder” to see your downloaded videos in the file explorer.

Access the Settings from the menu bar.

Change where videos save on your PC.

Set how many downloads can happen at the same time.
