Refactors
v0.2.1
Features
- state: store room state under
XDG_STATE_HOME(#5)
Upgrade Notes
Room state moved from ~/.confer/rooms.json to $XDG_STATE_HOME/confer/rooms.json, defaulting to ~/.local/state/confer/rooms.json. Existing rooms are not migrated automatically — until the file is moved, previously created rooms and their native session mappings are not visible:
mkdir -p ~/.local/state/confer
mv ~/.confer/rooms.json ~/.local/state/confer/rooms.jsonv0.2.0
Breaking Changes
create_room, add_seat, retire_seat, send_message, and wait_output now require an explicit workspace argument, normalized to its Git worktree root. It was previously derived from the MCP server's working directory. Calls that omit it are rejected — refresh the bundled Agent Skill with confer skill install after upgrading. (#4)
Refactors
- adapters: run every agent through a single ACP execution path (#3)
- mcp: split the server into rooms, delivery, and API modules (#1)
- agents: unify host identity and remove the dead handshake
Performance
- mcp: wake
wait_outputon delivery updates instead of polling every 50 ms (#2)
v0.1.0

- agents: coordinate Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, Grok Build, and Antigravity through local MCP rooms
- rooms: add private seats, per-seat FIFO delivery, and native session continuation
- install: add MCP registration and bundled Agent Skill installation
Refactors
- rooms: replace explicit room lifecycle state with host-session-scoped reuse
