Getting Started

This page takes you from zero to a working Selldone GPT in a few minutes. You will create a GPT in ChatGPT, add the Selldone action from Schema.json, configure OAuth and test the first call.

Prerequisites

  • A ChatGPT account that can create GPTs (My GPTs → Create a GPT).
  • A Selldone account with at least one shop, so GetShops has something to return.
  • An OAuth client (client ID and client secret) that the GPT will use to sign users in. See OAuth Configuration.
  • The schema file: Schema.json.

1. Get the schema

You can either copy the file content or let ChatGPT import it. The raw URL is:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/selldone/gpt/main/Schema.json

Or clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/selldone/gpt.git

2. Create the GPT

  1. In ChatGPT, click your profile picture and select My GPTs.
  2. Click Create a GPT and open the Configure tab.
  3. Enter a name, description and instructions. Detailed screenshots are in Create Your GPT.

3. Add the Selldone action

  1. Under Actions, click Create new action.
  2. Paste Schema.json into the Schema box, or click Import from URL and use the raw URL above.
  3. The Available actions list should now show Check2FA, Verify2FA, GetShops and GetProductInfo.

4. Configure authentication

Click the gear icon next to Authentication, choose OAuth and fill in:

Set Privacy policy to https://selldone.com/privacy.

5. Register the callback URL

Save the action, go back to the Configure tab and copy the Callback URL shown under Actions. It looks like:

https://chat.openai.com/aip/g-<id>/oauth/callback

Add this URL as the redirect URL of your OAuth client. If you change the OAuth settings later, ChatGPT generates a new callback URL and you must update the client again.

6. Test

  • Click Test next to Check2FA. ChatGPT asks you to sign in to Selldone and approve access.
  • If the response has a user object, you are signed in. If not, the account uses 2FA: call Verify2FA with your 6-digit code.
  • Ask the preview: "Tell me about my shops on Selldone." The GPT calls GetShops.
  • Paste a product admin URL (https://selldone.com/shuttle/shop/{shop_id}/product/{product_id}/…) and ask for its statistics. The GPT calls GetProductInfo.
