The Storefront ships with an AI agent kit that helps AI coding assistants turn a merchant brief into a custom Layout, safely. It is general and design-agnostic: the visual design can change completely, while the Vue application and its commerce behavior stay intact.

- Discovery. The agent turns the merchant's goals, audience, brand, page requirements, content and design references into an implementation brief.
- Design planning. It plans the visual direction on top of the existing storefront pages.
- Implementation. It customizes this Vue 3/Vite app, not a new or parallel app, and keeps Selldone commerce contracts (products, basket, checkout, customer panel) working.
- Regression checks. It verifies the result against the standard Storefront behavior.
- Publishing (optional). Only when explicitly requested, it follows the guarded workflow to build, package and deploy the Layout, and the deployment must be independently verified.
- Work in your own clone, fork or branch. Don't change the official repository's remotes.
- Don't replace the framework or create a parallel storefront app; the official Storefront is the baseline.
- Deployment is never automatic. It must be asked for and checked.
- Keep credentials out of the repository.
- Project Structure
- Deploy & Hosting
- Selldone CLI wiki: the CLI also includes a packaging skill for agents.
